Journaling Solutions for Scrapbooks (Creating Keepsakes)

Even though this book is a few years old, it is a GREAT resource for scrapbookers looking to create meaningful pages. It has contributions from many of the big names in the industry plus many lesser-known but really talented scrapbookers as well. It's huge and packed full of interesting layout ideas and journaling suggestions - it really focuses on telling a story with your layouts, and finding unique ways to tell it instead of just a paragraph of text.The book itself is bound nicely and high quality, with great color photos and a pleasing layout. Exactly what I expect for a craft book!This is one I keep close at hand in my craft room.

ScrapBooking used to have many idea books and magazines but sadly they have all gone to the wayside. I was looking for something new to browse trying to get my mojo back and came across this on Amazon. It is older but let me say it is probably one of the best books I have seen to date. Lots of pages caught my eye--also the handwriting tips and journaling prompts were great. Worth the money for sure and will be in my stash for a long time!!

I have tons of scrapbooking books, and this is by far one of my favorites! It has so many great page ideas that I can't wait to try with my own pictures. It also includes many page layouts with creative journaling that I would have never even thought of! This book is well worth the money, and I'd highly recommend it!

It's a very nice book, has good pictures and ideas and shows lots of ideas for scrapbooking and formatting pictures. In demonstrating the ideas it uses too many pictures focused on family and children, and children's growth thru the years, it's nice but I was looking more for ideas on general scrapbooking, ie travel photos, pets, events, and solutions on what to journal about, and how to place wording. Not quite what I was looking for, but I can apply ideas to my personal style.

This is a great reference to have on hand for scrapbookers. I first saw a copy at my local library and after just a glance I knew I wanted a copy of my own. It has great ideas on how to journal just about everything. There are lots of lists and quizzes to help put a different spin on the same old journaling.

This was well worth the price and I'm SO glad I got it! I can't believe the inspiration I'm finding, not to mention the solutions for all sorts of journaling/scrapping problems I've been having! Definitely a book that will remain on my 'go to' shelf for a long long time!!

Pretty good at helping to get the creative juices flowing for scrapbook journaling, also has some cute layout ideas.

I mainly wanted this book as i always seem to neglect my journaling on my pages. This is full of tips & inspiration. Will help me out when i need ideas.

I find that journaling is always the hardest part of scrapbooking. This book will give you some great ideas and take some of the "work" out of you pages.
