Cocoa Butter Colouring - Warm Hues Set

Disregard previous complaints about the stuff arriving solid. It’s tempered cocoa butter (d’oh) so you need to have some general understanding of working with couverture chocolates otherwise you’d just waste money buying this stuff.My small pack arrived earlier this month and I hadn’t had time to play with it until today. Warm tones came out beautiful, strong and so shiny! Chocolates look like candy!My only con to this were that no instruction was provided in the packaging on how to use these colours but I’ve played around with chocolate so I knew what to do. For those who are new to tempering and cocoa butters, they might be lost (pro tip: microwave the small bottle till half melted and just rigorously shake to mix and distribute cocoa in the bottle, then it’s ready to use).It’s pretty expensive for a small set but the finishing was beautiful! Perfect for beginners due to its cute size.

These are great colors and come already tempered but make sure you read the heating instructions, I accidentally let my colors get too hot and had to re-temper them.

This was the perfect product to learn with. I wish the colors were more vibrant when used on dark or milk chocolate but all-in-all, it was easy and fun to use!

These arrived with basically no packing inside the box, so of course, one of the glass jars had broken and leaked EVERYWHERE. I'm not sure if it's because of that or if it's just how these are, but they stink. Like, a horribly nausea-inducing smell. I had to throw them all away. Save your money and get something else.
