Pure Ghee Clarified Butter, 2 Pound

This is the only ghee I continue to buy! I have tried so many brands looking for the perfect one and this is by far the best and for the price and large amount you get, you cannot go wrong! The flavor is terrific as well!

The ghee arrived in severely damaged and crushed cans, with ghee leaking out and creating a terrible mess. I even sent the seller photos clearly showing the condition of the damaged cans and how badly they had arrived. Because the cans were crushed, leaking, and covered in ghee, I threw them away. They were simply not something I could reasonably keep, handle, or put back into packaging for a return. When I contacted the seller, they told me to return the damaged cans. I explained that I had already disposed of them because of their terrible condition. Despite already having the photos I had sent as evidence of the damage, they simply told me that according to their policy, they needed the actual cans in order to issue a refund and that there was nothing else they could do. And just like that, the problem was considered resolved from their side. But it certainly was not resolved for me. I was left with the loss, the mess, and no refund for a product that clearly arrived in unacceptable condition. I am extremely disappointed with the way this legitimate complaint was handled. I do not recommend GrocesrAtHome at all and will not purchase from them again.

A standard product from one of the most trusted brands in India. Texture, taste and aroma very much like the same brand back in India. The tins were a bit dented, though. Expiry dates were comfortably beyond delivery date.

Really excellent, will buy again

I had never heard of this product before, but I decided to give it a try. I tried several foods. You use it like butter and to fry with. I started with grilled cheese sandwiches. It worked very well, and is easily spreadable on the bread. Next I tried hashbrowns, using as a frying oil. It worked great! Good buttery flavor to the hashbrown potatoes. I know use to fry with anything I want a buttery taste to. Works well to fry anything with.

( The second can was a very different quality, actual pure cow butter Ghee this time. With the wrong nutrition facts label, claiming vegetable cooking oil. I'm dropping a star because of inconsistent product.(( I like this better than the last can by the way.))) I bought this ghee because I like to use it in making popcorn, and I was tired of making my own. ( best way to get Max butter flavor without having to use commercial butter powder) The smoke point was the same as my homemade ghee, but the Melt point is a much lower temperature. This may be because of the Buffalo milk in the mix. When I got it I was a little concerned, because it looked like vegetable oil with glee granules, but it smelled, and tasted like ghee is supposed to. I know there wasn't any vegetable oil, because smoke point was too high. Vegetable oil usually starts smoking much sooner than ghee, (in my experience) does. My only complaint is this ghee is not as buttery as my homemade ghee. I suspect this may be because of the Buffalo milk in the mix. Its a pretty good value ,but I'm going to try another brand of ghee in the future to see if I get a richer butter flavor.
