I got this after spending months using old directories as a punching surface. I should have gotten this when I got my punch kit. It is so much easier to make punches, and the materials dont get jammed in the wall the way they used to. I have less hand fatigue. This product is going into my always-on-hand craft toolbox.

I'm no professional in leatherwork, doing it for fun and hobby, but few months ago purchased quite few tools (well it was on my Santa list ;). This pad was one of them and I finally got to try it. It endured quite a lot of hole punches and other hits and held really well. Although it's too early for a final score, I have a feeling that it will last. It's not as hard as Tandy Leather plastic one and I kind of even prefer it that way.

Perfect size for punching holes and trimming leather for wallets and such. Very well made. Would highly recommend and purchase it again.

I punched holes on my leather using this mat and it performed very well. Almost self healing. I don't know how it will do in the long run but so far so good!

Great tool for DIY

Great delivery time, small size. It's curved/bowed and doesn't lay flat so it does bounce. Also the material is soft and seems to grab my hole punches and lacing punches. I'm going back to the dollar store for a cheap hard plastic cutting board. Would not recommend this product.
