UPDATED OutStanding Power Source for Mirrorless and DSLR Cameras
After 1.5 years using this power solution, thought I would update my review. The reason I stumbled on my review is that I am getting two more for additional camera setups. One on a gimbal and one stationary video B camera. I am just as sold on this as when I first reviewed it. It continues to be the power source on my primary A camera video rig. In studio I run all power to that rig through the power junkie by using a DC-in dummy Sony NP-FXXX rather than a battery. That is plugged into AC. In the field I just replace the dummy AC source with a real battery. It will keep my iPhone charged and camera running for several hours on one Sony NP-F9XX. I obviously keep additional batteries at hand in case I use too much power. I don't buy OEM Sony batteries. I use the nicest knockoffs I can get on Prime. Note, I only use original Sony batteries in my cameras when not using the power junkie. ------- Outstanding power source for professional video production. Solid build and light weight. Performs the job of providing power longer and with easy battery changes. We bought this to power cameras (Sony a7Sii, A7, and A6300) with FP-Fxxx batteries. We use the smaller NP-F550, but you can use any battery in the series including the NP-F970. The advantages are; easy battery swap and battery life. There are adapters for virtually any model of DSLR and mirrorless camera. I purchased the adapter for NP-FW50 camera because we use a7 and a6000 series cameras. This is great for any video setup from run and gun to studio on sticks. There are other options out there which are more solidly built, etc. but for the price you can keep a couple of these in reserve in case one stops workIng. The accompanying photos are from a commercial video productions. If I had been running the f750 or f970 battery I would not have needed any battery swaps on the 4 hour job. The f550 is good for over 2 hours. Light enough to use on a6300 on Crane 2 gimbal stabilizer.

Pricy, But Worth It, Just Be Aware of Limitations
I debated between 4 stars and 5 stars, but in the end, the limitations are my fault, not the product. If you use the NP-F570 6600mAh battery, the life on this is incredible. I have used it to power a Samsung Galaxy Note9 that is streaming over LTE for hours, and a Rode microphone concurrently with no issues. The unit is lightweight, compact, and with the 1/4" 20 mounting hole I have connected it to a cold shoe adapter. Now the downside. The Sony NP-F570 batteries have an output of 7.2V. So if you're going to power a device through the Sony battery using the 2.5mm DC port, you can't. So for a number of devices, such as Nikon cameras, this won't serve as an external power solution. One other thing to be aware of, it does have a USB-C port, however, that port is power input only. It is a great product for what it is, just be aware of the limitations. Had I realized the issue of 7.2V versus 12.0V I wouldn't have bought it, but that isn't the fault of Power Junkie, that is on me.

Your search for a value vs performance is over! Buy It!
Buy it and forget about any other battery to rig charging station. 100% quality throughout. The blue LED’s keep you constantly aware of your batteries charged level. Not much larger than a Zippo lighter, saving weight on my rig and allowing me to Mount pretty much anywhere I want. The supplied USB to micro c cable is sturdy, well built, and extremely durable. The 1/4” threaded insert hasn’t spun on me and is securely fastened to the chargers body. The rubber pad on the bottom allows a little vibration absorption, non-skid surface is great when mounting to bare metal on a rig. For the money, this is a great, powerful tool, every videographer and cameraman needs to own!

Works with Nuclues Nano but drains battery quickly
Small, sturdy piece to power your rig. Very versatile, because it has 2 extra usb outputs and it's possible to charge your NP-F batteries via the micro USB or USB-C port. I use it to either power the nucleus nano or the atomos ninja v (unfortunately, some lenses require more torque and in that case the USB output is not sufficient for the nano) and occasionally the accsoon cine eye via usb. Downside: the battery drains more quickly if I use the power junkie on the ninja v.

This is a replacement unit, sent with no fuss from Blindspot, to replace one with a usb fault. A well made, compact solution that both powers your camera rig from one, affordable Sony NPF battery... And doubles as a power bank. Seriously cutting down your kit bag, which is great for mobile shooting, and with multiple mounting options. The Sony battery will outlast the standard Canon, and provide power to all your peripherals. No other solution on the market stands up to the Power Junkie. Superb kit.

A little over-priced; otherwise a superb device to ‘manage’ adding large batteries to digital cameras. Can also be used to charge batteries. Very well made. Recommended
