Printer Works Well for My Coding
Easy to set up; best to use CD for drivers. Since I don't want gaps in code, it works well with software development projects.

It's perfect.
Rather than tearing up my good laserjet printer, it's great for printing pages and pages and pages of code listings on tractor feed continuous form paper. Since it's only a 9 pin printer, the minimum readable font size is 10. At 9, an '=' looks like a '-'. Small sacrifice for paying half the price of the 24 pin Epson LQ-350.

Printer not useable for forms and printing from websites and emails
This is a revised review. My previous comments that this is a good little printer for MS Word documents is still accurate. However it is of no value for forms e.g 1099-R, emails, and web pages. The main reason I bought the printer was for my wife who downloads numerous crafts and recipes from websites. These items are not readable. I have spent hours with EPSON high level technical support and they said the printer is working properly and I need to contact the web sites because their printing settings override the printer. I don't know how that is even possible and how is it possible with an email attachment. I tried printing an income tax return and the result was unreadable. Unfortunately I missed the return date for the printer by one day since I was trying to get it to work. Amazon members were fantastic in answering my questions on the product having a USB port and connectivity to a router for remote access. Setup was easy but the drivers needed to be gotten from the Epson website. Windows Update did not list the printer. Usage requires download of the manual since the controls are not intuitive on how the various buttons work.

Good printer at a fair price
Print quality is better than expected. I use it for customer invoices and billing. Easy to install and runs fine

So far from my limited use, this is a good printer, though I do find any text under 14pt to be very difficult to read as the letters "bleed" together. However this meets my needs for a very basic text printer.My only 3 issues with this printer are; It does NOT come with any printing cable, no USB, serial or parallel, so you must have a compatible cable to use with it, It did not come with English setup instructions or a English manual, lastly according to ESPON’s website it should come with Barcode fonts on the Driver CD, however it does not seem to have them as they did not install.This work’s with my Windows 10 Laptop as well as my Linux Mint Desktop. Both computer’s automatically installed the correct drivers, though I override the default Windows Drivers with the ones provided on the Printers Software Disk.It came with a Ribbin.I will try to remember to update my review as I use the printer more.

Does the job
No many uses for these printers anymore but still needed for call accounting systems. This replaced a older unit and this one works fine with the system.
