For every controller I've purchased on Amazon - it does not come with the charger unless they list that in the description.

after charging with the charger i have how will i pair this with my console. just push the ps button or what?

To pair the controller, you'll need to plug it into the console using a USB cable, then press the PS button and wait for the system to recognize it.
Once it's been paired, you can activate it anytime by pressing the PS button without the USB cable attached.

Does this have a usb port. I have a person in prison and they would not let him have it . is there a wireless controller that is not blue tooth or usb

I have an Afterglow brand controller that worked great for 8 years. It ONLY takes 2 AA batteries. It has NO PORTS at all AND it's all perfectly clear for easy inspection. It has cool lightning effects with LEDs throughout its interior, which get old after 10 minutes but it's inspectable.  Turn the lighting effects off for battery life, of course.
   No ports, only AA batteries and they really last a long, long time. All clear. Fantastic and perfect for your situation.
    I don't see them here. Try GameStop. I got mine there. If not there, go web wide. I'm sure somebody must sell them in some corner of the world. They're too good to just discontinue. No ports, crystal clear. AA batteries and it works exactly like a Sony.
   Please excuse the other folks in here. They just don't know how corrupt the justice system is in America.

Question 4

Just received a new one. Took it out of the package, plugged the charger cord in, and the controller didn't turn on. What do I do?

Just leave it plugged in for a while until the charging indicator lights come on.  Usually charge about 2 hours for mine.  If still unresponsive then it could be defective so just request a return with amazon and ship it back for a new one.
