Heavy Duty Black Punching Bag with Chains

This Last Punch heavy duty punching bag has been an excellent addition to my home gym! The quality is immediately apparent - the bag is well-constructed with thick, durable material that can withstand intense workouts. The included chains are heavy-duty and securely attached to the bag. I've been using it for about three months now and it still looks brand new with no signs of wear. The weight is perfect for a good workout without being too heavy to hang. The bag has a good density that provides excellent resistance without being rock hard. My hands and wrists feel supported even during hard punches. Installation was straightforward with clear mounting points. The black color looks professional and doesn't show dirt easily. Great value for the quality you're getting. Highly recommend for anyone setting up a home boxing gym!

Exactly what I wanted as a new user with a cost under $30 plus fill of $5. A good friend is a boxer and is assisting me. We talked about weight and protecting the hands and finally proper way to workout with it. Filled by following a Youtube (some are better than others) who suggested gallon or quart zip locks filled with sand. I used dirt instead of sand which had the same weight at 40#'s per bag. $2.50 for dirt vs $7.50 for sand per 40#'s (2 for 80 #'s). I also used old pillows in between each layer. End result is very good. This bag gets a solid 10 (1 to 10) for value and rconstruction.

The quality of the canvas is good. The zippered opening at the top of the bag, is of poor quality and poorly placed. It's difficult to get more than your hand in the open slot, and the zipper broke with a mild pull. Ended up duct taping the slot closed. Did fill with two body pillows and a regular pillow at a cost of $35 (Target). 15 lbs of sand in the bottom and the bag is punch worthy. The pictures indicated to me the bag was larger/longer. It's short; long enough to either punch from arm heighth or kick from leg heigth. I rigged a pulley system in the garage to raise and lower the bag (cost about $8 from Lowe's) and this works OK. Overall, would assess a good bargain for the cost; just be prepared for difficulty in filling the bag. (I did take it out on the bag once filled and it holds up very well under stress.)

Exactly what I wanted. I had a bunch of old shirts to fill it with. Chains are sturdy. Bag is a little rough, so if you want to hit it over 100 times any type of gloves would save the skin on your knuckles, or you could keep at it bare knuckle and the skin will toughen up. Fold or roll clothing and pack down tightly if you want it to be more solid.

I was a little concerned when I first ordered it given the low price but I have been very pleased. I used a 15 pound barbell weight in the bottom and used old bed linens to fill up the cavity. The hanging apparatus is remarkably well made and very heavy duty. It does not come with a hook so you will need to order a hook or other device. I used a heavy duty garage bike hanging hook. The canvas is well done. It will take your knuckles a bit to get used to the canvas, but if you are looking for a punching bag, red knuckles should not be a concern. It does have a large zippered opening at the top which makes feeling it very easy.

To set expectations I am not a pro, amateur, or boxer of any kind really. I bought this bag simply to use for a workout and to release some aggression. I was looking for an inexpensive bag and this seems to be a good choice so far. I've been using this daily for about 1 week so far. Here are the PROs: 1 - It was inexpensive compared to other options on Amazon 2 - You fill it yourself so you can control the weight; I filled mine with old t-shits and towels which works pretty good but is still very light so it moves quite a bit when hit. If you want a heavier feel you'll need to add sand in addition or a denser filling instead of cloth. The lighter material actually makes it easy for me to connect and disconnect before & after workouts so the bag is not on permanent display which I like so I haven't changed it yet. 3 - It comes with it's own swivel so you don't need to buy a swivel mount; I originally bought a swivel mount bracket but switched to a strap hanger afterwards (strap hanger was cheaper and extended length a bit, see CONs below) Here are the CONs: 1 - The bag is small...both in length and circumference. I know the dimensions are posted in the description but I was still a bit surprised when I saw it in person. This turned out not to be a big deal for me and may not be a big deal for you either but a few things to consider: the small bag may constrain the weight you can add if you want a really heavy bag and the length may limit what mounting mechanism you can use. I am 5'11" with high ceilings, when I originally mounting this using a bracket mount directly to the ceiling stud the bottom of the bag pretty much hung eye level for me. I switched to a hanging strap mount to add some length to solver the problem but something to consider for your purchase. 2 - The material doesn't seem to be of any high quality. It's king of like a burlap sack, definitely not leather or any other soft or non-abrasive material. You'll definitely need some good gloves to hit this otherwise it will probably shred your hands. The stitching on it also doesn't give me the impression that it will stand the test of time (came out of the box with some pulls, stretching, and many stray strands). That's just my initial impression but time will tell. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the purchase so far. In total for the bag and hanging strap, using some old clothes as filling, I got this bag fully setup for less than $40. It doesn't seem like it will last forever but it does appear sturdy enough to last for a while and is good enough to get me started on some new workouts to see how I like it.

This was just a poorly done product ( said Made in Pakistan…but that is secondary) and was returned for the following reasons : 1) The stitches were very light - single stiches 2) The canvas cloth itself was not lined.. meaning the threads were hanging and very soon will be close to the stitch and will tear off 3) the product origin needs be indicated clearly for people to make a choice! Understanding was that it will be from US when the purchase made …but the product was made in Pakistan ( a secondary issue..but the poor quality made it primary issue!) 4) the whole look and feel was very bad as the canvas was very thin and the stiches were not fit for purpose 5) even the stitches for the hanging strips were very light and poor!! Beware of such bad products!!

(acheter bande protectrice pour les mains car la toile est épaisse) chaines de maintiens fournies ( j'ai mis une corde ; cela fait moins de bruit) c'est exactement ce que je voulais : trente minutes de frappe tout les soirs apres boulot car je ne peu faire du sport avec mes jambes … 10kg de sable au fond permettent de maintenir le sac sans qu'il se balance ensuite j'ai roulé tres fort des vieux T shirt que j'ai bourré au fur et a mesure apres 30 minutes de frappe j'ai rebourré de chiffons et depuis un mois je suis tres satisfait je le recommande

Tough material

Seems to be well made so far and has already taken a bit of punishment, early days yet, but I don't see it changing any time soon. Its like a canvas material, seriously harden the knuckles if you aren't using gloves. Using gloves, the don't slip off it when making contact. Easy filled. Chains a good length
