The Basic Principles of Gregg Shorthand

Always wanted this book. Happy with purchase.

I was grossly disappointed! I ordered the book thinking it would help me refresh my memory of Gregg shorthand. Not so, It is not a textbook --- the title of the book is misleading as I am certain you are aware. BUYER BEWARE.

Not much information I can use

The title is deceiving. This book basically talks about the problems with other shorthand systems and why they're problems. All while boasting greg shorthand. It does, in a way, implicitly state how to write greg shorthand.This book seems to be for people who already know other shorthand systems, such as Pitman, which is frequently bashes, explain the faults of Pitman and why you should convert to Greg.

Not the book I expected. I thought it was the beginners book with the strokes etc. I learnt shorthand at high school and would like to refresh what I have learnt. A better insight to what is in the books would be helpful and cause less returns I would like to send it back. Maureen

I would not buy it again unless it was the last book available.

Sorry but this was more of a book on the development of the system. I was looking for the actual shorthand lessons.

Ok, just not what I thought it would be.
