Q: Is it easy to swim breaststroke in this costume ?

Yes, it doesn't constrict in any way - it's like swimming in a normal swimsuit.

Q: Does this expand in the water? How much to size down for a snug fit when swimming?

I am a size 10. The medium fits me perfectly. It’s very snug but comfortable. Very pleased with it. Wouldn’t want it any smaller though

Q: is there enough flexibility to swim freely in this swimsuit?

I have found this really easy to swim in. I have tried of expensive triathlon wetsuits and felt really restricted. I wanted something that would just warm me up a bit to extend my swimming season. The water does get inside but warms up. It doesn’t have a tight mech so you still get some cold water in but not unpleasant. It allows me to feel free in the water. And it’s really cheap!! I really recommend it.

Q: Is the XS suitable for someone who is 5ft and size 10?

I'm 5ft 5 and a size 10 and got the medium, so XS might be too small. Difficult to say as we are all built differently
