It's coffee is exactly the same as any other stovetop espresso unit I've enjoyed. Would I buy more of these as gifts
This uses a much-thinner molded-aluminum material than all similar coffeepots I've used over 40 years. Of course, thickness of material can also means "heats more quickly" so it's a trade-off. It also makes about 2 oz. less than the Primula or Bialetti "9-cup" models, which makes this about an '8-cup' in reality.The lightness, the "feel", is only detraction. It's coffee is exactly the same as any other stovetop espresso unit I've enjoyed. Would I buy more of these as gifts? Not sure. I think I might prefer the heftier casting of the Primulas, which is the same as the Bialetti's at a lower price, but maybe I'll come to prefer this lighter-aluminum/quicker cooking time instead.

Definitely a great deal for the price . Not the best quality , but it will serve its purpose just fine .I am satisfied .
