I'm ditching my Porter Cable cordless stuff for Ryobi. They are a bit smaller, which isn't a big deal for me but for the girlfriend it's great because we can both easily use the tool, the batteries have good staying power and the integrated magnet is a great feature.We do a lot of construction and automobile work. These tools just plain work. They work all day with few interruptions. They get dropped, tossed but not lost and always get the job done. I highly recommend these tools unless you're looking at muey high end stuff. If you want tough and good battery life - this is the hammer drill for you.

Impressed with the design changes, has more heft than previous versions. Good torque & battery lift so far, very happy with purchase.

This is a keyless and non hand tightened chuck. The chuck is slipped and requires slotted drills.

Great tool for great price

Great tool, great price, but these are broken up sets, and Ryobi won't let you register a single tool for warranty. As long as nothing breaks, it's a good deal.

I've used the non brushless Ryobi impact in the past and it worked great, but this works even better. Definitely a strong little drill with good torque.

Ryobi has come a long way. My last set of screw guns were on their last leg so I started looking for replacements. I would have never considered anything made by Ryobi 5 or 6 years ago but I took another look via a recommendation and finally opted for this compact impact driver. As a finish carpenter and cabinet maker I use my guns daily and this gun has really changed my mind about Ryobi's whole line of tools and battery packs. I'll update this review if anything changes. Moving forward again, production is a good thing.

Tech at a Powersports dealership. I use this everyday constantly and so far it is worth its weight in gold. Only thing it has trouble breaking free are old corroded 5 wheeler lug nuts but that's to be expected. That's what the air gun is for
