Bought this set because my son's SL-P uses it in his therapy sessions. It's a really great way for him to learn about idioms. And now, when I say things like "Hold your horses!" he totally understands what I mean. He's a very literal kid, so getting him to understand what an idiom is and what each one actually means has been a big deal for us, and this card deck has really helped him make some progress.

Great cards to help describe the idioms to kids.

Most of these are super common. I had heard of almost all of them and the ones I hadn't heard of are too easy to figure out from the picture. I planned to use these for my middle school ELD students, but I'm pretty sure they'll be well beneath their level.

Arrived quickly. The cards are sturdy and coated like a pack of playing cards, maybe a bit more so. The idioms on them are fun and as pictured on Amazon.
