Can anyone tell me the OD of the shaft we are going to mount these from below so I need to figure out how big of a hole to make?

I just measured it and a hole of 1 and 5/8 inches would leave about 1/16 clearance. The height is 5/8 inch before it starts to taper in, so the plank that it is mounted would probably not need to be any taller than that.

Is there any oil requirements?

Bearings in some applications use oil, but grease is the lubricant of choice for 80 to 90% of bearings including ours. Grease consists of about 85% mineral or synthetic oil with thickeners rounding out the rest of the grease volume. Our Ball Transfer Bearings come pre-greased and should last quite some time.
