Life's moments
One of the most thoughtful and helpful books I've read. I was going thru a rough time and came across this passage: "Regardless of whether life throws you highs or lows, the important thing is what you do with the seismic events in it. You have the power to create how you experience that life." Several of these serendipitous moments occurred as I moved thru the book. I love it!

#CHILL delivers on its promise!
The promise of #CHILL is found in Bryan Robinson's own words, "May this book bring you the sweetness of doing nothing - moments to chill, live in the present, and savor your life to the fullest." Whether you are a workaholic, generally overextended, or someone caught up in chronic over-caring, because of Bryan's gentle and consistent guidance on every page, you will have the opportunity to let #CHILL deliver on its promise to you. It certainly has for me!

WOW
What I love about this book is that it's written in 12 chapters...a chapter for each month. Reading the whole book than starting again with a chapter a month is so helpful in reminding me how to "Chill" and stay focused and healthy and not go off track. This book is for everyone who needs a reminder to slow down.

This is an easy to read, helpful and intuitive book to read that has genuinely changed my life for the better. The author is so authentic and genuine and I can tell through his words, that he wants to help people. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone that wants a positive change in their life.

Not what I expected...
...but not terrible. This is geared towards people with work addiction and I was looking for something that helped me create better balance. Some crossover, but not what I had in mind.

Repetitive
After the first chapter it becomes repetitive. Just read the back cover and save your money.

Happiness
Finding #CHILL was almost a Godsend for me. I had a few losses in my life and as a result, did not feel that I wanted to enjoy life. Everyone experiences loss in life but it does not mean that we have to give in to grieving all of the time. I sometimes felt guilty if I was enjoying something that I had shared with another person. I was told about #CHILL by a friend. Although I am not working and therefore not stressed about work, I was stressed about these losses I experienced. Many things helped me in the book but I think one of the things that stuck with me, especially, is the section on letting yourself laugh. I did not realize that I was not finding many things to laugh about because I had closed my eyes to having fun and that it is OK to have fun. Another helpful piece of advice I took away was to seeking happiness. #CHILL says "Happiness is an inside job. Whether you are happy or not depends on the ways in which you think about day-to-day occurrences. Happiness comes when you can make mindful choices and commit yourself to being happy regardless of what life throws at you." Little things can bring as much joy as big and being grateful for them is a wonderful thing.
