KnitPro Zing Double Pointed Needles 6" (15cm) | 2.00mm

I had previously bought the 3mm needles and learned to make socks in March this year, now after making three pairs of socks I want to experiment with needle sizes so got the 2.25mm ones. Quality seems just as good with these although I did have a few scratches on my 3mm set (may be due to my awful tension as I was learning and having to fight to get my tight stitches!) these work great as well and will be switching between the two sets now for the cuff and the rest of the sock, also where my contrast yarn is slightly smaller as it is from a different brand. All in all - good set and size for me as a beginner, now that I know how to hold better tension it is smooth like butter and am getting faster at using it. Tip for beginners is to just ignore the rest of the needles as that is the first hurdle I had first starting, but easy to get used to and learn on. I cast on all on one needle then transfer the stitches which isn't hard as the yarn glides along nicely.

Great needles. Nice sharp ends. 6” long is perfect for my English style knitting. Good grip on stitches.

I am currently in a sock knitting obsession and to help me do this. I’ve been loving the Knit Pro double ended pins (dpns) for my sock knitting. They are just wonderful to knit with. I love the Zing type. The ends are really nice and pointy. They feel lovely in the hand, they’re very light and smooth and yarn just slips across them but isn’t too slippy so the stitches don’t fall off. If you know what I mean. They are really cheap In my opinion and awesome Value for money. I’ve got a whole collection of them and they all really handy , they work well with all sizes of yarn from baby yarn to fingering weight, DK etc. I haven’t really bought any of the larger size because I don’t anticipate doing larger products but I do love these and are highly recommended.

These KnitPro Zing DPNs are lightweight, smooth, and the tips are just sharp enough to slide easily into tight stitches. I used them for knitting a doll and found them much easier to work with than my Addi set, which feels noticeably blunter. I’ve been alternating between the two sets to keep track of rounds, and I always look forward to picking up the KnitPros. They feel solid and well-made, and the stitches glide beautifully. Definitely my go-to for small, detailed projects.

Love this range of needles, I’ve bought lots of them. Different colours for different sizes so no mixing them up. The only negative is the odd one or two have a slight sharp edge at the points

Lovely needles, can’t fault the Zing range. DPNs are just not for me though. Sent back for circular shorties!

Nice red colour with steel tips makes it easier to transfer stitches without dropping them.

Brilliant! Love KnitPro. My go to needles and never fail to be happy with them.
