The Tillerman Series
Cynthia Voigt writes beautifully. I was surprised at loving Jeff's story and thought I'd want to read something different after reading Homecoming and Dicey's song consecutively. Still want to know me about these characters. I forgot how much I loved this series and am glad I decided to reread them all these years later.

Not all parents are truly loving...
Cynthia Voigt writes about Jeff Greene in the third book of the Tillerman series.Jeff lives with his father who he himself is a subdued person in showing emotional feelings. When Jeff hears from his estranged mother, he jumps at the chance to spend the summer with her. He believes she lives him and enjoys his time with her. The next summer showed to be much different and new emotions arise. This was a good read and I look forward to book four in this series.

Love it, Amazon!
I love the detail Voigt puts into her books, and each book is its own in the 'Tillerman Cycle' while still being a wonderful series as a whole. I just began digging into "The Runner," and can't get enough. The product Amazon-wise was was great too. I love my Paperwhite Kindle. Everything downloaded without trouble and I love how my Amazon Kindle phone app connects with my Kindle to keep up with what page I'm on.

WONDERFUL
I loved this book! It was wonderful to see Dicey from a different perspective as well as get to Jeff better. Cynthia Voigt did a wonderful job creating Jeff's story. It was dramatic and a little depressing at times but overall it was a believable, beautiful, well written story. The plot has a wonderful twist and the whole story was exciting yet at a relaxed pace. I couldn't think of a better character for Dicey. Great book. I highly recommend this book to all young readers.

Love it
I read this book for the first time when I was a kid. I'd read Homecoming and liked the Tillerman family. This was a heavy book about a boy trying to connect with the mother who left him and the father who threw himself into his work as a result. I love this book. It is one of my all time favorites and I've read it many times since first reading it

Cynthia Voigt - A Solitary Blue
I read the Tillerman books some time ago. I have encouraged my teenage daughters to read them, but they find the period very different to the modern world and havnt really persisted with them.

A Solitary Blue, and how I enjoyed it. Mollie Worden.
It took a little time to get into it, but eventually I began to enjoy it. I enjoy reading Cynthia Voigt's books, and will read the next one in a little while.
