Very informational.

This book was NOT about silkie chickens, but general chicken info for beginners. There are several typos and I was completely disappointed in it. I wanted a book of how silkies differ from a standard chicken with care and how they sleep, diet, etc.

Wanted a book about silkies, not about chickens and the existence of chickens. Thought this was going to be more silkie oriented. Not overall chicken oriented. Although this information may be good for first time chicken owners, it just didn't seem to be just about silkies which is what I wanted.

The book was not specific to silkies. Could have been written about chickens in general. Text had typos and errors.

A manual should contain instructive diagrams but there was nothing,which rendered the text unhelpful for showing purposes.
