Patina Style

Lacked real decorating ideas. Mostly just pictures of objects.

I've followed their blog for a few years and love their style! This book shows what they've accomplished in creating an amazing little "farm" in Ojai, CA. The pictures are of high quality and the text is very helpful in understanding their goals and how they achieved them. An excellent book if you're interested in architecture, gardening, home decor, and all that goes with living an artistic life.

Disappointed! Not enough pictures, mostly pictures of partial areas - , not a lot of full rooms, or outdoor architecture. Would pass on this one!

This book, Patina Style by Brooke Giannetti is visually a very pretty book. I think if you are looking for inspiration, and to get a sense of an overall feel of vintage/antique décor, this book delivers. It is, however, somewhat weak in the ideas department as far as copy goes. For a kick start into the look of European Country, shabby chic, without all the chintz, than Patina Style is for you. In the end, I do like it.

Such a beautiful book. The photos are beautiful. I get coffee table book and also a wonderful resource book.

Disappointed ......too much written content not enough illustrations. I like to get inspiration from this kind of book but it didn't inspire me. Have watched this lady on Quintessence and that did inspire.
