Hotshot attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht, Love and Other Drugs) and legal prodigy Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams, Luck) – who actually doesn't have a law degree – return as the dynamic duo in season two of the hit series Suits. Harvey and Mike continue to hide their secret as they deal with the ominous return of founding partner Daniel Hardman (David Costabile, Breaking Bad), juggle demanding caseloads, and tackle dramatic developments in their personal lives. Co-starring Gina Torres (Gossip Girl), Meghan Markle (Horrible Bosses), and Rick Hoffman (Samantha Who?), watch all 16 episodes back to back and uninterrupted of the series critics call "among the most enjoyable shows on TV" (David Wiegand, San Francisco Chronicle). Disc 1 - Suits Season Two Review: SUITS is an exciting drama series on USA Network ... - I have enjoyed Season 1 and 2. I will say, though, that if you take a day off and sit and watch every episode until you are nearly done with that particular season, I do think that "reality" continues to creep into your mind about how "real" this fictional situation is and if it were true in the real world, how long the silly scheme of keeping the secret (and breaking the law big time for that hush-hush), would really last? I initially thought the premise of this show was great and definitely original. I love the characters and the story lines. I have even come to like the nut of the firm, Louis Litt, ... but, you've still got to ask yourself ... if this situation were actually taking place in a law firm today, ... how much longer could you continue to dodge the bullet ... especially since with each episode more and more people are finding out the truth about Mike Ross' fake title and conduct as an attorney in a high-ranking legal firm in beautiful Manhattan, New York. You do wonder how many more seasons can Ross remain in his capacity and the show still stay believable ... so, just don't sit back and watch Season 2 in one of your days off ... or you might hear your inner voice start to say 'come on, how phony can this show get; he's not finally busted yet?' When the two lead characters are also Co-producers of the show, another reason why Ross gets cleared before each ending of each episode, and this could last another three or four more seasons, for the most die-hard of fans. Bottom line: yes, I enjoyed their Season 2 shows, despite my deep-simmering realism inside. Review: am I glad I did - Years ago, I began watching the first season of "Suits." While it was somewhat clever & entertaining, I was over it by the end of the season & did not go on to watch any additional seasons. Recently, after running out of things to watch, I decided to give "Suits" another chance. Boy, am I glad I did! Like many shows, this one takes a couple of seasons for the actors to grow into their characters & to begin feeling comfortable/natural portraying those characters as actual people we can relate to. Also, the writing needed to develop over time. By the middle of the second season, I was hooked. Now my opinion of this show is, "It's brilliant!!!" This isn't just another nighttime soap opera, although there is plenty of that going on. But there is just enough relationship drama to give the show some human/emotional twist without turning every episode into heavy focus on sexual relationships. This gets old really fast, in my opinion. This show offers so much more: There's the constant tension created by Mike's situation & the potential of it becoming exposed at any minute--imagine the ramifications for the law firm, if that ever happens! There are interesting legal cases, & it's great fun watching Harvey & Mike come out on top. And then there's Louis Litt. The writers & creators of this show were brilliant by including his character, right from the beginning. Otherwise the show might run the risk of becoming just another legal drama with a bunch of extremely non-believable good-looking lawyers, sleeping with each other & winning unbelievable cases. Louis is sometimes the guy you love to hate; sometimes he's the guy you feel sorry for; & other times he's the guy you want to strangle, the way he makes everything, good or bad, all about HIM. I think this show will go down as an all-time classic. I certainly intend to watch the entire series over again someday.

Speaks for itself. Great show, great actors...
What can I say other than I genuinely enjoy this show. Great acting, good writing, and wonderful actors & plot themes. I own all the seasons now except the last season that aired this past Spring 2018. My only complaint is I wish the writers /actors /producers didn't feel the need to curse so much in an otherwise excellent show. I realize the actors are very passionate & things get heated so it's natural & maybe even necessary on occasion to curse, especially due to the nature of the material & legal situation they weave themselves in and out of each week. I get that. I just think they [writers] tend to go overboard with cussing at times when they really don't need to do so. Other than that minor nitpick, I still enjoy watching the show & the actors. Can't believe they've been on 7 seasons, and #8 starts tonight in fact. Will miss seeing Mike Ross (Patrick Adams) & Rachel Zane (Megan Markle) in the new season 8.

Way better than Season 1, extremely riveting!
This season is a huge step up from Season 1. While season 1 was definitely good, it was more of an "every episode is a different case that ends at the conclusion of the episode, only for the guys to move on to the next one." The most interesting elements of season 1 - the dramas that came from Harvey's relationships with others, ranging from Louis to Scotty to Jessica and Mike - are maximized in season 2, along with the additions of two extremely well-drawn villains from his past. Season 2 has one main war-like tension go on for almost its entire season, and this war got me addicted to the show, unable to keep myself from binging. It's also incredibly fun to see all the guest stars that get brought back and re-developed. Gabriel Macht's acting, in addition, is extremely powerful this season, particularly in some of his moments with Louis and Jessica. There are also some surprises in store, particularly some questions regarding Donna (I won't spoil anything, though). A friend of mine claimed he couldn't get into this show due to it having too much of a "formula" in Season 1. If you have similar concerns, get through season 1 if for no other reason than to watch Season 2, because these sixteen episodes are just flat out riveting.

One of the best shows on TV right now.
One of the best shows on TV right now, witty dialog, compelling characters and above average stories make me amazed that this show can exist on a network as bad as USA. They claim "Characters Welcome" but in general I find that to mean "Caricatures Welcome"…but I digress... Season 2 is pretty great, and many of the problems with season 1 (for example EVERY single scene having to do with the miserable Trevor and Jenny and it being far too episodic) have been removed or tweaked at least somewhat in season 2 (though season 3 -which is basically 1 long case- is even better). If only they could figure out that Mike is one of the weakest characters on the show. "Mike and Rachel" has become tedious…it's Louis, Donna, Harvey and FANTASTIC guest stars (like David Costabile, Wendell Pierce, Adam Godley and Conleth Hill to name a few) that make this show go. My recommendation is to start with Season 1 if you're going to this show, there is a lot of great character building in Season 1 that bears fruit in Seasons 2 and 3, and if you did watch Season 1 and liked it, why are you even bothering with reviews? FOR THE RECORD: this review is merely for the show, I am not taking anything into consideration about the DVD's production or extras. They do seem at least passable (some commentaries and deleted scenes, etc) but I haven't had time to explore so far. I do wish this was available on Blu-ray.

Suits: 2
I had to buy Seasons 1, 2 and 3 individually. The clarity and content was better the the boxed set I bought previously. And,the entire boxed set was copied. When we had to move, I left the boxed set at the house. I'll sell Seasons 1,2 and 3 when it is feasible to do so. Refer to Season 1 submission with all 3 suits dvd covers.

A Winner!
I have arrived late to the watching of this television series, but I have now become immersed in the stylized world of big city lawyering. I think the second season was even better than the first as the writers expanded the storylines of some of the central characters and continued to come up with fresh plots that engaged the lawyers' work. Each season ends with a cliff-hanger, however, I feel as if the fast pacing of this season kept viewers interest at a very high level though every episode. Both of the main characters - the veteran "closer" and the young rookie are played flawlessly by the actors. Most of the supporting cast is top-notch while the writing remains tight with each episode flying by. It is interesting to see not only the personal side of the office relationships, but, also, the maneuverings to deal with legal issues which sometimes skirt the law. There is a big secret that some of the staff has had to maintain for the good of the firm - still, the numbers who are learning of this is growing. So, you just know that when it becomes common knowledge, the firm and those who are running it, will all be in serious jeopardy. Sometimes, I watch several episodes consecutively because I can't wait to see how a case will be resolved.

this brilliant show consistently finds ways to turn walks from one ...
From the witty banter to the continuous stream of compelling obstacles, this brilliant show consistently finds ways to turn walks from one office to another into riveting television. The characters have a relatablity that bleeds through the exteriors of their lavish, corporate lifestyles. Harvey Specter's larger than life persona is iconic, and Luis Litt's noncommittal shift between antagonism and antiheroism is memorable, as are his hilarious antics. Mike Ross's Psych-esque "wonder brain" makes each inevitable, day-saving epiphany a unique and fun experience. Donna, however, might be the most underrated character on the show. She somehow strikes an elegant balance between Harvey's charming self-importance and Mike's (sometimes naive) compassion. She is undoubtedly the glue that holds all these characters together. Suits has been a "bingable" thrill, and has stayed true to form throughout its run. I was skeptical of anything attempting to match Psych's comedic flare or White Collar's devious charm, but Suits has earned its place, staying faithful to the tried and true USA formula while carving out a dynamic uniquely and so very satisfyingly its own.

Klasse Serie - Hoher Unterhaltungswert !!!

Imperdibile!
