GBC BadgeMates Vertical ID Holder

It was perfect for our mini conference badges, served the purpose and it made our event look more professional :) luckily we could collect them back from our student participants to reuse next year because it was pricey and we don't have much of a budget at our school :(

I recently bought 100 of these to hold art badges for sale at a convention.The good: The badges seem to be made of very durable, thick, flexible plastic. I never had any problem with the badges sliding out. Even if they did, the location of the hole for the badge clips would make it difficult for card or plastic badges to make an unplanned exit.The bad: I had a bit of difficulty getting the badges (which were printed on 100# card stock) to slide into the holders correctly. Apparently there's a trick to it, and you have to be careful to not let the badge get the slightest bit crooked, but once you figure it out, it usually isn't too bad. I also had one holder out of the hundred break when trying to insert the badge clip.Overall, I think these are a great deal for the price and would definitely recommend this brand.

I think I must have gotten confused when I read the reviews on this (I read a lot of reviews on the same type of product before chosing this one).I thought that they all suggested this runs small, it does not. It is actually larger than I imagined it would be. My card is the size of a credit card and has more than enough extra space around it, a lot of space.I have only used it a couple of days but so far it works perfectly. I have two cards I have to carry and I have to keep them separate for different readers to scan and so I have one in each on the same lanyard. They do not stick to each other or anything else. I think they are perfect.

At first I thought these were great. They were very clear which is what I wanted and the name badges I made looked great. However, after a few weeks many of them started to break at the point the clip attaches to them. What a waste. I would recommend the Avery Heavy Duty Badge Holders (74472) instead. They are not as clear, but they have definitely held up a TON better than these.

we used them for a youth church retreat attached to lanyards for the students to wear around (about 50ppl). half of them tore by the first day. too flimsy and thin. i guess they'd be fine if the person is not moving much and only using for a very short amount of time and for a small group of people. I would NOT buy these again, I probably should have known better from the description so I still give it 3 stars.

These badge holders are probably fine if you are doing a one-day event or meeting. However, I ordered these for a camp that lasted a week and by day 2 a lot of the holders were falling apart - especially where the lanyard connects at the top. Last year I purchased Avery holders which were not as clear (the plastic is not as clear), but they were extremely durable and I had no problems with breakage. I will not buy these again!

Very good product

Purchased these for a high profile event with name tags. These were the perfect size and looked like VIP name badges. The only drawback was that sometimes the top part of the plastic broke when trying to attach the lanyard.
