How many id cards can this hold? I need one that holds 3 or 4.

This ID cardholder holds 2 badges, 1 in front and 1 in back.

There's no photo of the other side. What does it mean "Open Face on One Side, Closed Card Holder on the Other"?

I carry two badges, one is a general access card for our facility and the other is for access to the "secret" area. The secret card may not be shown in public. This badge holder displays the badge in front for all to see, as required, but keeps the secret one mostly hidden so I stay legal.

With the open side and side slide out, is your ID card secure? Will it fall out?

No way your ID can fall out. When you insert it you will hear it "click" into place. I have a very physical job and I have never ever worried about my ID falling out, ever.

I want to be able to use the touch sensor on my building to gain access. Will I need to remove my card from this holder to do so?

As long as the other cards in the holder do not have a sensor you should be able to scan the card with no problem.
