This is a thick and sturdy webbing, not like backpack straps but is is what you see in seatbelts. Very sturdy.

I purchased this for a custom seat I made. I'm very pleased with it, I love fact it comes with the snaps for the buckle.

used this to replace the strapping on 79 firebird, same width as orginal material, very tough and looks great. beats the heck out of dropping 150.00 on upholstry shop to replace. used a regular sewing machine no issues, you do get a small amount of thread but not much, we ordered a roll of red and worked much better.
