These durable and waterproof performance gloves will provide hours of safe, soothing heat. The tatra gloves will not only provide warmth throughout the entire length of each finger but also heats the back and palm sides of the glove surrounding your hand with warmth. The outer shell uses a durable nylon fabric with a rich black cowhide leather palm covering 120 grams of insulation. They also include a breathable waterproof membrane and a soft tricot lining. The underside The glove includes extra leather palm protection to help with longevity in common wearing spots. The battery pocket is located in the middle of the glove for easy accessibility. The battery pocket opens and closes with a waterproof zipper and has a display window so you can see the power level setting. This window will allow the user to easily adjust the temperature to one of four power level settings without taking the battery out of the pocket. An adjustable strap and strong elastic cinch cord at the CUFF helps to seal out any unwanted cold air or moisture. Review: Hands stay warm like your inside - A bit bulky but that's to be expected when they include thermal wiring and batteries in a pouched wrist. Otherwise. they work great for me. I have Raynaud's disease, a wonderful leftover from when I had frostbite working in ice cold temps at Fisherman's Terminal in the 70's.My fingers turn purple (and hurt), then white and numb. I also now experience other problems as a result so these reasonably priced heated gloves saved me from Raynaud's aftermath. You can spend a lot more money to get the same protection like $250 at REI. Did quit a bit of research before purchasing my Volt gloves. The instructions say even when they are not in use. you need to charge the batteries so I will follow that advice. They kept my hands a very comfortable warm (like I was inside my house instead of outside), during the winter of 2015/2016. I only had to use the 1st setting as 2nd was too warm. If 2nd was too warm, I can imagine what setting 3 is like. A really cold winter will be the final test. Am happy with my purchase! Review: Excellent Gloves if only the batteries weren't so lousy... - Updated: One of the two batteries died after a few months and I have not been able to get a replacement for it. It was good while it lasted but now I am in the market for a replacement and it won't be a Volt! Original Review: This is a truly excellent product. Personally, I prefer the highest temperature setting. It is wonderful to walk around in freezing temperatures and yet stay warm. Without these heated gloves, my fingers always turn a ghostly white color after 5 or more minutes in such temperatures. I have been diagnosed with Raynaud's and these gloves are a tremendous help. They seem to be very high quality and I am very happy with them.

Buy directly from Volt Heat...
I bought a pair from Amazon and sent them back because one of the batteries wouldn't charge and neither of the batteries worked in the gloves. I really wanted a pair of these gloves, so I tried ordering them directly from the manufacturer (voltheat.com). The gloves from the manufacturer work perfectly. The batteries charge properly and work in the gloves just the way I expected them to. Interestingly, the gloves from voltheat came with yellow batteries, as shown on their website. The gloves from Amazon had black batteries. Knock-off's?

Sent back; measurement suggested a small would work, but based on reviews, ordered medium. These were too tight, so currently waiting for the large to arrive and hope they are not too big. Will update review after wearing on a cold day and fitted properly.

Not happy with the expected heat generated
Batteries don't last, no real heat on low. High only lasts one hour. Not happy with the expected heat generated. Can't use the gloves for an all day event like skiing or sledding.

8 years later and still works
I purchased these gloves in 2015 and used them every winter. I purchased an additional (2) batteries for them and all the batteries still work. The material for the gloves are tough and durable. Great reliable brand.
