This is the duct tape of watch repair, not only can you dab watch parts/or/press watch parts in it/ to take off fingerprints/grease/dirt, you can take a chunk and use it to hold the movement during partial disassembly. I have seen watch makers use it keep track of parts by lightly pressing them into the Rodico during disassembly.. Hope that helps..

Can typewriter letters be cleaned with this?

That is a possibility. I do not know if it has enough tack to get the packed in or really dry ink etc. out of the letters. You could probably carefully clean that stuff out with a pin or toothpick. A very strong stick can be pointed up using a bamboo skewer from the grocery store. There are some watch repair videos on line that show this product demonstrated. Generally stabilizing very small parts or cleaning fingerprints and dead oil. That is a nice project. I hope you get it typing clearly. This stuff is extremely handy if you are managing tiny parts.

There are numerous ways to use Rodico.
