This is a superb lead. I bought it for my long haired GSD. It is strong and durable and has an extra loop that is extremely useful to shorten the lead and give extra control. This is particularly useful when eg. Crossing the road or negotiating busy spaces like shops and crowded streets.I bought the stylish red lead, it is also very inexpensive and excellent value for money. I will definitely buy a second one in a different colour to use .This lead is good quality, has a good appearance and easy to use. It is also a good length for attaching when he waits outside a shop etc. very good service from the seller

I love this lead. It’s sturdy and robust. It’s comfortable to hold and the second handle close to the dogs body is so useful for if you’re near or crossing a road. I use it a lot for if people are walking towards us and I want to keep my dog standing still beside me. He knows now that if I’m holding that handle then he has to walk to heel or I’m going to ask him to follow an important command. I usually walk with the lead across my body so for example if the dog is on the left of me, I have the end handle in my right hand and use my left to grip the lower handle. It’s a great length too and I’ve never had any trouble with the clip. Can’t recommend enough really. Just fyi I have a Gt Dane x Italian Mastiff and this lead is more than strong enough to hold him

This is a really good lead. Love the 2nd handle which is about a third of the way up the lead. I have a large dog and this length is perfect for us, however if you had a small or medium dog I think the 2nd handle would be too far away to be useful. This lead is well padded on both handles and comfy to hold. The close control handle is excellent in busy areas or when crossing roads and I have found he walks much better to heel generally since using this second handle for control when on our walks. The clasp is strong and the spring on it works well. The reflective stitching the length of the lead is a bonus if you walk your dog after dark.

Strong lead but dog as still chewed through it

This was exceptionally good value and as close to perfect as you can get in a dog lead. Comfortable to hold. The second handle lets you take control for crossing roads, avoiding hazards and the ring on the handle lets you attach an extender when desired. I love it!

I had one of these before. I still have it but it is shorter than this one. I use the shorter one to secure my dog in the van whilst travelling. I use two (certified) climbing carabiners to attach one end to a secure point on the van and the other to my Rottie's harness. It's a robust lead and the longer one is the perfect length to allow her some latitude to sniff.

I really like these leads - I’ve ordered them a few times because I honestly can’t find any ones better! They’re great quality and last well, also like the second loop to keep the dogs closer when needed and the reflective design so they can be seen in the dark.

The second handle is useful for when you want your dog walking close to you, it’s comfortable to hold and feels really durable. It’s definitely very reflective too.
