Nursing Research: Generating and Assessing Evidence for Nursing Practice

Perfect for my nursing course, I undertake a research module during my degree and this is absolutey perfect for any nurse researcher ! Fantastic reference for essays in this field too - the book was also in great condition for a second hand copy - even if there are a few highlighted sections - I actually quite like it as it draws my attention to these areas from what I assume was a previous student nurse :)

Cannot rave about this enough. We started nursing research lectures and I was beyond confused, I thought there was no chance I would ever pass the exam so I bought this book as my lecturer quite often references it. It came very quickly and it is brilliant. Clearly explains all the paradigms and research processes, absolutely brilliant. Cannot rave about it enough.

I’ve not long started reading this book, it’s good so far. It is going to be handy over the next few years! Excellent condition for an ex-library book.

Great value for money and good condition

This book contained pretty much all the info I needed for my research critique which was set by the uni. The assignment itself was a ball ache but this book is pretty awesome at explaining what different types of research are and all the ins and outs of it.I would definitely recommend Polit and Beck

The book begins at a very elementary level and progresses systematically through topics that are more complex, providing the reader with a good understanding of the principles and practices of research and with tools for analyzing the quality of research. I'm sure I'll be referring to this well-written book for many years to come.

翻訳版も出ていますが、大学院生ならこちらの原著を読むことをお勧めしたいです。少なくとも日本語版と対で所持し、いつでも原文を確認できるようにしたいものです。日本語版はすでに翻訳者のフィルターがかかっているので、むしろこちらに戻ったほうが著者の伝えたいことをより正確に受け取ることができると思います。
