Aqua Quest Safari Tarp - 100% Waterproof Lightweight SilNylon Bushcraft Camping Shelter - 3x2, 3x3, 4x3, 6x4 Olive Drab or Camo

Opened my package in great anticipation only to see the 3 most dreaded words....“Made in Taiwan”did a good bit of research before I chose this tarp, all other Aqua Quest tarps I saw were made in Canada. I was happy to fork out and pay a premium to get a quality item made in the West. Strangely they don’t actually mention anywhere in all their advertising that their stuff is now made in a China!

I bought this tarp using my Christmas Amazon vouchers. I have used it for about 8 nights wild camping since purchase, and I really like it. I have been out in all weathers from torrential rain to sleet and snow. The tarp is large enough to construct a nice dry shelter, and is of sufficient quality to instil confidence in its ability to protect you from the elements. I doubt it is the lightest out there, but it is lighter than the military poncho I used to use. It has plenty of attachment points, great colouring to blend into your surroundings and feels a quality product. I expect years of service out of it and would certainly buy another should I lose this one.

The Aqua Quest Safari 3M x 2M Trap was exactly what I was looking for.It is large enough, without being too large. It is light weight, without being flimsy and strong without being cumbersome. I find the colour blends in well with many backgrounds. I have used it several times here in Ireland in heavy rain without any problems what so ever. It feels like a high quality item, not something disposable that will have to be replaced after only a few uses. The stuff sack, which is of a similar material to the tarp, is large enough to hold pegs and guy lines as well as the tarp.

Have not used it yet, however on first inspection it appears to be of very high quality (seams, stitching, etc).Do have to note that, unlike the desciption, have not been able to compress it to "10 x 9 x 9 cm" but rather around 19x9cm (roughly double the size).Unless I am doing something wrong, the description may be wrong (or refer to the 'guide' series).Will update review after use.

Fantastic tarp, very light yet strong. Excellent standard of stitching. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

DD tarp? why waste your money!

The delivery was very fast and the tarp itself exceeds my expectations. I was afraid it would be to heavy but for its size it is manageable. The setup possibilities se endless. I used it during our trip in Slovenia and it protected us very well during a storm. It's so spacious and due to the many tie outs,easy in setup
