Has anyone tried this on black taps?

Like your taps are black not chrome? Or the taps are dirty black?

This damaged my brushed steel sink and taps. Why is there no warning on the bottle?

Did you leave it in too long. I don’t know about any warning but I’ve had no issues with my taps. I leave on for about 5 mins and my taps are sparkling

I've only used this on silver metal. You will have to read the label to see if it is suitable to use on your taps. It may not be.

Can this be used on ovens and hobs?

As it’s only for limescale I very much doubt it unless you have lime scale on your cooker. I use it for taps and my shower glass and it’s fab
