How much sand would it take to fill the 30x50 version of the bag?

I am unsure of how much sand will fit but, the bags can only hold up to 50lbs

Can anyone tell me how this seals closed? Is there a rope or clasp to hold it closed?

As noted, their are 4 rings punched into the top of the bag, that fold over each other to close the end. There's a metal loop that goes through them and then you clip something on the loop (comes with a clip on the shoulder strap) to keep the end from opening. I bought this bag to build an exercise sandbag. After a day of SEVERE abuse, I noticed the rings and canvas starting to stretch, so I just close the bag by bunching the end and wrapping some small rope around it. Obviously I'm not opening and closing it, and obviously the closing rings aren't designed to slammed on the ground repeatedly with 80 lbs of sand inside. This bag is durable and exceeded my expectations for the price.
