ValuTek Multipurpose 5/8" Coil Hose 50'

My wife used to dread rolling up the 75’ contractor-grade hose we had after watering her plants, so she usually just left it for me to do. No more! This hose obviously recoils into an easily manageable shape and it’s light weight, so she finishes the job without complaint. The volume isn’t the same as the old hose, but it more than does the job and seems like it will be durable. We’ve been using it for a couple months and no leaks, it’s kept its shape and transfers water from one point to another. What more could you ask for?

Great hose, easy to work with

I have rarely been as disappointed in a product as this one. It serves no purpose whatsoever. The material is so rigid that it never uncoils. My pressure is a 35 PSI and it sits as a tight coil so rigid that I cannot even pull it across the greenhouse floor. I will never and I mean never consider buying any products from this company again. I don't even know what to say. All of those reviewers must have been sent a very different product. I cannot imagine anyone giving this a positive review. Once it completely dries out is is going back!

Works well in grow room and greenhouse

This hose is more expensive then some but I wanted quality. The thinner ones tend not to last in the heat. This is nice and thick and recoils perfectly.

I have three in-ground hose enclosures that originally came with this kind of hose. Two of the three hoses have had to be replaced because the garden sprayer nozzles became "frozen" onto the brass fittings over time and the hose material is too stiff after more than 10 years to fit with new hardware. The only "complaint" in that respect about this hose is that the diameter of the coils is about 2.5" smaller than the original hoses, which means more coils than will fit easily in the box. But far better than some of the other replacements I have tried.
