Hi there. If you're eating the soup right then, it will be fine, but it will eventually soak through if left overnight. It is also not liquid tight, so we would not recommend transporting liquids inside of it. Hope that helps. Thanks. Avant Grub

I tried to place an order, but it says it cannot ship to my address. What can i do?

If you're in California, then unfortunately, these can't be shipped to you. Despite demonstrating the biodegradability of our products, California still prohibits selling these products. I really appreciate your patience and understanding, and please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Thank you. John Customer Concierge

Is this compostable and biodegradable?

Hey there, Thanks for your question. Our plant products are certified biodegradable & compostable, and our fibers are from annually renewable agricultural by-products of plant-based food production. - Tri with Avant Grub

Is this container heat resistant? just in case i want to use it in microwaves or electric oven

Hey there, Thanks for reaching out! The containers are heat safe up to about 200 degrees fahrenheit for a reasonable amount of time in the microwave. We would definitely not recommend them for use in an electric oven at any temperate above that. Also, very soupy or wet foods wouldn't due to good, but most leftovers are going to be great in these, coming out of the microwave. As always, your purchase is backed by our No-Nonsense Lifetime Satisfaction Guarantee - if you ever have a problem with one of our products, please reach out to us through the Amazon messaging service and we'll figure out a way to make it right! Thank you again, John Customer Concierge
