I bought this because it seemed like a great price and size. I was getting about 20 channels with my old "rabbit ears". I plugged this in and got literally 0 clear channels. I tried moving it all over the place and in the window but still nothing. I bought another one at the same price and got about 20 channels again, nice and clear.

Works OK for close towers, but 50 miles is definitely a stretch. I do live in a somewhat hilly area, but this antenna struggles with anything over 20 miles away.

Love this antenna. We have three tvs that need antennas and have been using locally purchased small rabbit ear types. The reception with the old one was okay, but many channels would fade in and out. We just installed this compact antenna and all the channels come in clear without any interference. This took less than five minutes to hook up and looks so much neater than what we replaced. We'll be purchasing two more to replace the others. Very nice product. We even get more channels with this one.

This might work if you live in a metro area where there are 1) NO tall buildings above 2 stories around your home, and 2) all your desired stations are within 25 miles ... and 3) all in the SAME direction from your window location ... or ... you are in an attic with no ceiling or roof to block the signals. None of this exists in the real world. ... Many towns in rural areas within 30 miles of a metro might be good targets for this device ... This, and others like this product are taking advantage of metro consumers that are desperate to drop cable ... and will take a flyer on a $20 - 35 item hoping that we'll not bother to return it ... ... such is the case here. If you buy this .. or any other antenna like this ... have the guts to return it and get your money back for it.

Maybe it’s just my New Mexico studio apartment, but I have to really position this puppy in the right way to get a single good channel

Reception below average. Wouldn’t buy another.

I ordered this TV Antenna hoping that this would be an option to replace my cable. I was pleasantly surprised on how well and clear the reception is and how many channels I can get. This is an option to replace cable. I made a Good choice!!!

I have several other powered indoor antennas including the original Mohu 50 miles model. Basically they all work about the same. I received my order really fast because I have Amazon Prime. But the problem is obviously mine is a returned merchandise because 1) the back side of the connector has the glue residues (obviously from the sticker. 2) the 3x Stickers indicated on the Instruction Manual are not to be found at all.
