These inserts do a pretty good job of holding the shape of the front half of the cap of the hat.

Works great at getting my baseball caps looking new and crisp. If you're looking for an insert that's comfortable, fits and easy to put in, i highly recommend these. In fact, i an so pleased with these that i ordered another set.

Not too bad, but it's way too thick. About 3 mm when 1 or 1.5 would do, so it doesn't really fit well into the band. It makes the band area thicker and wider when that's counter to the effect I want. I actually prefer the cardboard ones that already come in some caps. This is about 4 times thicker than this. Of course cardboard won't last very long. This is made out of foam, so maybe that's why it has to be thick. I'll use the pack I bought butI doubt I'll buy them again.
