More show than function.
The media could not be loaded. You get what you pay for, if you are looking for an authentic bayonet with nice quality and craftsmanship, check out the Smith & Wesson SW3B Bayonet. Pros 1st, Cons 2nd and misc. info after. This bayonet gets 5 stars from me just because it is visually pleasing and I am only using it for display on my M4A1. It would get 2 stars if I was going to actually use it as a real bayonet was intended. This is not a real bayonet, it will quickly fail if you are using it in survival situations. But if it is being used as a show piece or on display, it can be easily cleaned up and slightly modified to look the part.PROS:*Nice paint finish.-Mine came with minimal surface imperfections. Two scratches, which can be seen in my video.*Blade weight.-The blade (blade only) weighs 7.7oz, or just over a half pound. The knife as a whole weighs 14.15oz, or just under a pound.*Full and easy disassembly.-6 parts in total (excluding sheath) Blade (steel), separate dual threaded tang (aluminum), guard/crosspiece (steel), 5mm hex head bolt (steel), handle (ABS/Polymer), lug clip (steel).CONS:*Warped-The blade edge is very very slightly warped. Might just be mine though.*Dull-very dull with a rounded blade edge.*Chisel style knife edge.-One side of the blade has been painted to look as if it was sharpened, although it was not. The other side has received some amount of angled sharpening.*The blade has a threaded, partial rat tailed tang.-This type of tang is very week.*The before mentioned dual threaded extension tang that the blade threads into is made of aluminum.-Very week connection, very easy to strip the threads out (be careful while tightening)*Lug clip seats loosely.-Unlike other reviews suggest, this bayonet does come with a lug clip and it will attach to a bayonet lug. It will attach with some wiggle room/play. You may have different results depending on the manufacturer of the bayonet lug on your rifle.*Muzzle flash hider hole is massive, too big.- The hole in the guard/crossmember that would usually seat around your muzzle device is massively oversized.MISC:*How I corrected most of the above issues.-I had my blade professionally sharpened, it is cheap steel though, so the edge will most likely not last.-I replaced the extension tang with a steel tube and welded it to the blade tang, still using the Hex head bolt at the base to hold the unit as one.-I welded flat steal plating in the hole of the guard and then cut the appropriate sized hole for my flash hider. Had the guard cerakoted after I sanded the welded surface smooth.

Easy to find!
My wife loves to garden. However, she has misplaced several knives over the years. This one, she can find easily among the cuttings, debris, etc. And she loves pink.

Not my M9
As for this M9 it does not fit my rifle length specifically. The blade and handle is pretty sturdy, but I feel like it'll break easily on its weak sides. Sheath is well made and fits the M9 Bayonett. The blade did come coated in some type of oily/sticky for its unknown purpose but it was pleasent to clean or look at. Did not lock in properly with the sights and lots of wobble play attached to the barrel.

Does not come with M-9 Scabbard
Great blade, however does not come with the M-9 Scabbard. Kinda defeats the purpose of the functions on the tool.
