Like the others who have commented, I bought this to use on the glass table in my microwave. It's a very clever idea and works so much better than the paper towel routine I used to use. Spills wipe right up! Then I got the idea to use it on my counter top next to the stove to set hot lids on while I stir soups or turn the chicken when I'm cooking. That worked so well I ordered two more and used the second one in my fridge when setting glass bowls on the glass shelves to prevent scratches. I'm using them for all sorts of things. I'm sure I'll be ordering more as I discover more uses for them. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

This item is exactly as described and is quite sturdy. I am pleased with the item. The reason I only gave it four (4) stars is because I wanted it for use in my microwave oven. While it is good for helping to keep the microwave clean, there is a downsize to this. The items that I put into the microwave take much longer to heat with this mat on the microwave turntable. I am not an expert on why this would be, but there isn't any denying that it .has that effect.

Having these reduces the frequency of needing to take that glass bottom piece out of the microwave to wash it; thus less chance of breaking it and paying a small fortune to replace it. They do tend not to adhere well to the glass, i.e., slide

Just received microwave mats. They are thin and for the money I feel a little cheap. I bought for a gift but the packaging is just clear plastic.They are nothing special.

Works great, very happy with this product.

These are the perfect size for our new microwave and do a great job of keeping the glass turntable clean.
