A Super Fun Read!
Before I start, this a companion novel, to the Divinicus Nex Chronicles. If you have not read the main series I highly suggest you do, if not, you will be confused as this book jumps around a lot.Okay let's start.Wow, I've been waiting for this, and man oh man it was worth the wait. As someone who has read all the Divinicus Nex Chronicles, this book was the perfect addition. Mostly because the main series is told in Aurora's POV, so there are things that get missed, especially where the Hex boys are involved.I'm not going to give away any scenes, cause that will spoil the fun, but I will tell you that this book has all the charm and superb writing as the main series. It's just as witty, connecting, funny, and fantastic. I was hooked, captured, and I didn't want to leave. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will fall head over heels for this perfect companion novel.Happy Reading-E.A. Walsh

Happy fans must read this
When I heard that the Divinicus Nex Chronicles were going to have a companion series that gave us the Hex Boys' POVs in the books (that are Aurora's POV only) I was so excited. This one's the Hex Boys' POV of the third installment, Demons in Disguise, and it talks about what happened when Aurora wasn't around and when they were away while she was with Cristiano.I loved getting the Boys' perspective of things and hearing about what they thought in regards to Aurora's shenanigans. Their own POVs also gave a special insight as to the type of people they were, letting us get a little more depth where they were concerned. I enjoyed reading a story I fell in love with from a different pair of eyes (six to be exact) and overall, it was just a really fun read. As a fan, I do wish the book flowed a little more but I also know that this book was just meant to be a compilation of POVs from the Boys when things went down in Demons in Disguise, so it actually flowed a lot more than originally intended, which was cool. It's a definite recommend to those who love DNC and the Hex Boys. Were you missing them when Aurora was off fighting for her life? Then I sincerely recommend you read this!

Oh, how I've missed these boys
A&E Kirk takes us behind the scenes of what happened in Demons In Disguise. You get to hang with the Hex Boys and see what they were up to when Aurora ducked for cover trying to hide from a clingy assassin. =P I've laughed, and cringed, and sighed longingly throughout the book, but some things hit harder, some secrets have stabbed at my heart. If you want to spend a few hours hanging out with the Hex Boys, and see if they really are as cool and well organized as they seem (they're not), this is worth every penny. It's structured as short snippets from the everyday Hex Boy life, or 'Mission Reports', which means that if you haven't read Demons in Disguise you need to grab yourself a copy and start there.

Not another one!!
I am sooo tired of waiting for them to finish the Divinicus series. They publish all these little side projects while not finishing the series. It’s been like 2-3 YEARS already. It’s like taking the lazy way out to try and keep readers with you. Publish an “interview” book, publish the boys’ POV, publish another side project book. They don’t want to finish the divinicus series by the looks of it. This is the MOST frustrating thing about these 2 authors. Guarantee you they have about every reason under the sun why it’s not getting finished. Do you all realize that at the rate they are going this series will not be finished until like 2027!?!? Well ✌🏼 Because this lady is tired of waiting. Stop giving us fluff pieces and deliver goods or maybe it’s time to focus only on your day jobs (because it certainly isn’t full time author because we would have had a finished series by now)

Hex Boys POV
In this book we get to read about the boy’s antics and frustrations in keeping Aurora safe and just trying to keep up with her. There is a lot of danger, action and laugh out loud humor. Blake still cracks me up with his outrageous flirting and overall craziness. As much as it frustrates the other boys at times it does give them some comic relief after dealing with the real dangers of demons. I enjoy reading their POV’s, but I think I’d like it better if we had a bit of this in future installments.

Fun read!
For those that LOVE the boys and can’t get enough, this would be a fun read. This book gives insight on the boys point of view from Demons in Disguise and what they went through at Novo. Although I love the boys in the main story, their banter and dialogue is good for me but I’m not so much interested in more after that. Now if you wrote from Cristianos point of view when all is said and done, I’ll devour that in a heart beat! It’s just the mystery behind him and who this Fiamma is. Maybe it’s obvious and I’m just not getting it!Anyways, I applaud the authors again for perfecting their craft and the dialogues amongst the characters. It’s witty and funny but not where they all sound the same. I am hoping for some more in depth perspective on the boys. They all have some interesting history, some darker than others, but I wonder if any of them will have a twist character arc or if it’ll all be light and fun. I mean I guess Eros was interesting but the mystery still stands on who is the main villain in this story! Ahhhh! (I totally just went off topic but this series is seriously amazing and I’ve been waiting forever for book 4!)

Companion novel to Divinicus Nex Chronicles!
Loved it! Hilarious! This is a long awaited companion book to Divinicus Nex Chronicles!!!All the DNC fans might have felt that Book III of the series ([book:Demons in Disguise|28231804]) did not provide enough of lovely Hex Boys to us. The book has MC going to the other side of the world with Cristiano on adventure while our Hex Boys are saving the day somewhere. This book is written in form of case reports and takes place around the time our MC Aurora is traipsing around Paris with Cristiano. Hex Boys are fighting in a full scale attack on the Mandatum facility along with few guards and little help from Mandatum itself. But also this book has various scenarios where the Hex Boys are trying to protect Aurora by following her around and being their goofy and funny selves.Hex Boys were sorely missed and the authors have provided us with our fix, till they finish up the Book IV of DNC universe... Dark Demon Knights!!!

A twist on Demons in Disguise for the fans!
This book was entirely from the perspective of the Hex Boys! What most excited me about this one was the little Aurora and Matthias perspective that is so special (and I'm not even a #teammatthias girl). It was a really sweet scene and a lovely insight into his character. The saddest thing about this book is the fact that it makes the existing tantalizing plotline just that more tantalizing. I feel like I'm pining for more knowledge. From the boy's perspective, you get extra details about Cristiano and Horus' Siccarius Team and you realize just how much the Hex Boys care about Aurora's wellbeing. That's the sort of lovely details that Aurora herself doesn't see as clearly in the main series :)One more thing that I would've loved, would've been a Cristiano and Horus pov scene or two. I'm a team Cristiano girl and I just think that would've been really cool. Overall, this was a really nice mini book to get a bit of Divinicus New Chronicles fix!
