this is an awesome night light! We actually have one in each of my kids rooms that are different characters. So when I saw this one with the bat signal, I was so excited because my son is a batman nut! He is also a huge hater of the dark. I know sounds kind of ironic since he likes the Dark Knight so much! But this does the trick! He feels safe, and he loves how it brightens his room! The sign is big, and it is bright! It is brightest on his closet door as you will see in pics, and I wish our outlet was on a different wall so it would not be sideways for him, but the product works great! These last a long time and I like that they are light sensitive so they are not just on nonstop. The only bummer is I wish I could figure out how to change the light bulb when they fade or go out. It will be at least a year before it goes out, as my others have lasted that long, but I may have to purchase one more to keep on hand when this one dies. Added this very fun "Knight" light to my home office. It adds a great touch. The projection is very clear and the colors crisp and vibrant. I have the the projector eye (the yellow ball) pivoted so that the projection throws onto the ceiling toward the center of the room (about 7 feet from the unit at the socket). This enlarges the image and provides ample lighting for maneuvering in the room while it is dark, and it looks super cool having Batman "watching over" as you enter. Easy to plug in after removing from the package. I would say this item is very safe and perfect for a child's room and is just plain fun for any adult looking to add a little extra something to a space showcasing their collection. Buying several different hero images would be a great idea for a superhero themed party - pivot the projector to throw images on walls, floors and ceilings. A great alternative to buying stickers or tacking cardboard images all over.There is a light sensor on the bottom of the unit that automatically switches the image off when enough light is present or during the daytime. However, the sensor seems to be a tad testy and doesn't always read the incoming light correctly. This is the reason for the drop to only 4 stars. Still this issue isn't enough for me to not endorse as a good purchase.

My son loves his batman light and us well rested parents do too. My son has been having problems with the dark recently. He wakes up in the middle of the night and comes wakes us up by crawling in our bed. He is also a huge batman fan. I would have bought a normal nightlight but they were too bright and thought they may wake up the kids. However this is just bright enough light up the room, while the kids know that batman will keep them safe. I would recommend this light for people who are looking for a night light for the kids who love batman.

I was very hesitant to buy this, first it’s cheap and second, the photos they post usually don’t match up to reality. But, this is fantastic and better than I’d hoped for. The light is bright but not too, it’s very large on the ceiling and I like that when there’s a light on or the blinds are open the nightlight turns off. It’s definitely worth the buy if you have a little superhero of your own, they’ll love it too!

The image shines perfectly on the ceiling, it's a very clear design. My only disappointment is that it doesn't light the room up very much at all. In this particular room, you have to walk halfway into the room to reach the light switch. So, when I go in there after dark, I end up bumping into furniture as I fumble for the light. I was hoping that this would function like a regular night light, and light up the room at least enough for me to see my way to the light switch. Unfortunately, it just doesn't provide that much light. So, it doesn't work great for my purposes, but this might be perfect for others.

Logo only appears in the dark and automatically shuts off when the lights are on so it’s safe to leave plugged in all the time and no worries about having to remember to switch it off or on. My 2 yr old 3 ur old and 5 yr old all love it and it’s got a simple cool design that even as an adult I could see myself using it

We have an entire room in our house dedicated to comic books.What comic book room would be complete without a bat signal?It's perfect. It isn't the BRIGHTEST of lights, but that's more on par with how it should be. (I also imagine if you're using it as a nightlight it doesn't put out SO much light that your kiddos can't sleep)I'm pretty impressed with it.

This is a Christmas gift for my grandson who loves Batman. All I was able to do was plug it in, which you can do without opening the package. I went into a dark room and it looked awesome. You are able to rotate to different directions to shine the Batman symbol on the wall or ceiling. Forget about him, I think I'll keep it. LOL Look around on Amazon because it is also advertised for double this price.

So I bought this product in order to try and convince my little guy to sleep in his room. How cool to be able to look up at the bat signal especially when you think your Batman. The product is amazing. Works well shuts off at the first sign of dawn. Very happy with the product, but little guy still in mom's bed but hopefully one day the bat signal will call Batman to fight crime in his own bed.

My 4 yr old is a big Dark Knight fan and loves his bat signal, its now part of our night routine to tuck him in and put on the bat signal so the dark knight rises, he loves it, helps him dream of catching Joker, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc and Gorilla Grodd.

I think I should have waited a year or two to buy this - age appropriate is an issue sometimes - and once you get into a dark room, the Bat signal isn't all that bright or big.
