My review will be a little bit "TMI", so skip this if you are a delicate type of person. :) This is a great product and it has miracle powers of knocking out underarm odor. I have very sensitive skin and I recently had to change all my personal grooming products to things that do not contain any of that horrible perservative that starts with an "M" (excuse me for failing to recall the name!) as well as no toxic things like SLS.Directly attributable to my skin allergies and overall dry skin, I sometimes don't want to bathe for a few days at a time. So I was able to experiment with this product and I was amazed at what it was capable of doing! I bathed and then put a dime-sized dollop on each armpit. I noticed that I had no odor for about 3 days, even though I do have to do a fair amount of work around the house and was experiencing damp armpits at times. On the third day, I noticed a slightly skunky odor starting, so I decided to apply more of the product. It knocked out the odor within about a half hour, and then it kept me odor free for another 3 days. I believe that I could have kept doing that, if I did not have opportunity or desire to bathe. It cracks me up that this product can remove odor as well as prevent it.I believe that all airlines should stock this product and pass it out to the offensive passengers. ;)UPDATE: After using this product for about 3 weeks, I noticed one day that I developed a sort of "rash" under each arm. I was so worried that it was a reaction to the product itself, but that didn't make sense because I had used it for a few weeks without any irritation at all. I realized that I had been sweating and had not been wise to dry off, and due to some hard physical work I was doing... I probably just got a thing I can only compare to diaper rash. It's like your skin is slightly puffy and red, and you just need to clean and stay dry, let it rest. That is exactly what I experienced, and I attribute that to a particularly stressful day of hard physical work without taking the wise action to dry off. I used the old "stick deodorant" for a day to let the skin recover. Then I happily went back to using this product and have not had a repeat incident of the weird rash, which was totally just a heat rash or wetness irritation. This product is deodorant but not antiperspirant. If you are doing something that makes you sweat, you can just pat your pits with some toilet paper when you are in the loo. But it's not a big deal normally for me, as I only get the tiniest bit wet feeling when working normally at my household tasks and when exercising outdoors.

I developed a brownish-pink 'rash'/stain on the lower half of my armpit after 5 days of use. It started as just a thin pink 'smile' on the right side but now it is on both sides and the smile is brownish-pink and 2" wide! It does not itch or sting yet. I am trying to return it. Amazon says it is not returnable, but the listing says NOTHING about being nonreturnable. Next note will be to Amazon.It DOES, in fact, WORK for me to control odor.Both jar and lid are plastic. Comes with thick stir stick in jar. Has stayed stirred together for 5 days although I do a little stirring before each use to be certain the baking soda and corn starch are incorporated. I love this deodorant. It is VERY effective. The formulation is clearly right on point. I had bought another natural deodorant to compare it to, and this one is just 10/10 on effectiveness. Also, after application, when I wash my hands, it goes right off. No oily residue.BUT, this is why I'm giving it 4 stars:- the deodorant contains a mix of deodorant and oil. The oil separates daily, so almost every time I use this product, I have to re-mix the oil with the deodorant. It's annoying, the little mixing stick is short and hard to manipulate, and it takes time. Also, the other day, this pot accidentally got turned onto its side in the bathroom, and the oil oozed out through the side. So, now I don't have any more oil inside it, and I'm using it without oil (or by mixing with some body oil to give it the consistency so it's easy to put on). If the deodorant formula itself wasn't so good, I'd be giving this product 1 star just for this issue.- there must be a way to put this product into a deodorant stick. Digging into it with fingers is messy and complicates an easy task. I would reorder this product in a heartbeat if it were in a stick. I just don't want to get my fingers dipped in deodorant every time I put on my deodorant. I am willing to buy a worse deodorant with a stick than to use a great deodorant without a stick.
