Tru-SpecSecurity Friendly Tactical Belt

Durable, comfortable, easy to cinch tight
Belt is comfortable to ware, but not real stiff, in case you need that. I like it better than a stretch type belt, because you don't have to tighten it as much to secure your paints and anything you happen to be carrying on it. I find it easy to tight the belt to any tightness I may want. I just put the belt through the 1st. slot in the buckle and pull on the end to cinch the belt as tight as I want it, then lift the other side of the buckle to clamp down and hold that tightness. Next, I feed the end of the belt through the 2nd slot in the buckle and pull it tight to lock the tightness I want. Easier to do, than for this 77-year-old to explain! I use as an E.D.Carry belt for a full-size pistol. Compared to one of my double thickness, nylon E.D.C. belts, this isn't as good, but for the price and all things considered, this belt isn't bad, actually pretty good. My last thing, I have 3 of these belts, I buy them a little longer than needed, so if I need to take my paints down for any reason, (like to go poo), I can loosen the belt up enough without actually unfastening it completely, then do what I need to do and my gun and holster stay secure and not sliding off my belt and/or dropping to the floor. Have a great day!!

Really good belt for a good price, time will tell if it will hold up.
I purchased two belts, Propper Tec 40-42 and the Tru-Spec 1.75 inch 40-42 belt. I already owned a Spec-Ops 1.75 inch belt that was a 40-42 I believe for about 6-7 years for daily use. I had to cut he Spec-Ops and both of the new belts for my 37 inch waist. I had to cut at least 8 inches off each belt so for sizing I should have purchased the 36-38 size, but there was no price increase and I wanted to make sure it would fit my expanding gut.Pro's: All belts hold tight and don't slip the Tru-Spec has wider spaced ridges so it really locks up tight.Con's: (IMO) I find the Tru-Spec and Propper Tac feel more flexible where as the Spec-ops is more rigid and sturdy even after years of use. With the new belts holding up like the Spec-Ops has is something I will have to see. Between the Tru-Spec and the Propper Tac the Tru-Spec is more rigid and feels tougher but it is 1/4 inch wider (closer to 3/16) than the Propper Tac. Do I feel the belts will fail and wear out sooner, I have no clue only time will tell after years of use and abuse.Final: The price is great compared to the big manufacturers and if they hold up then I will buy more because I am not happy with how my leather belts have stretched and "curved" plus they still leave marks when I sweat and wear light colored pants. I was satisfied with how they hold my CW close to my body and keep it tight. I still would like to purchase a "double layer" belt for "heavy days" that I need more support. Yep ladies us guys can use your terms for our uses and they mean something completely different.UPDATE: Jan 21 2015I found the piece I had to cut off of the Spec-Ops belt from years ago it is 14.5 inches long and feels twice as thick and sturdy as both the Tru-Spec and Propper Tac belts do. I should maybe not have cut off so much as to that I only have about 4-5 inches of material left after the buckle, the two new belts I cut so they are longer. The Spec-Ops is way stronger as far as belt material, but the buckle does slip a bit before it gets a good hold. I took a real good look at it (it's at work) and it only has a very slight almost un-noticeable bow in the middle (back) nothing like my leather belts do. It seems to also have taken shape as to where I like the buckle so it is formed to that fit point. The issue is this, is it worth the double the price, I don't know. Would I buy the Spec-Ops belt again for double the price, YES I really like that belt. Will the Tru-Spec and Propper Tac hold up like it, I don't know. The other two are softer and feel thinner even though it may be by a hair and I mean it is hard to tell if the Spec-Ops is really thicker but it is heavier and feels like a piece of strap steel.I may need to clarify, I do not work for or get paid by Spec-Ops or anyone else other than the Federal Government. So this review is my sole uninfluenced opinion and only my own.

Great work belt
Needed a quick replacement for my 511 belt that I have had for years and finally became a hassle to fix. These are not 511 quality however they are doing the job they were created for and I like it. Price was great. Longevity is still to be determined. I had to get one size up, so not sure about accuracy of sizing chart.

Rugged. To the point. Effective.
Upon reading reviews, there's a hidden pocket built in, and I have no idea why it exists either. You can fit maybe a couple quarters, but that's it.Anyways, on to the product itself, there's not much to say, and for good reason. The width of the belt's neck is fairly bulky compared to some other nylon belts I have, but quite frankly it still fits, and does so very snugly. This helps it bear a load of weight with increased efficiency, I've come to realize, but it is not particularly comfortable if sitting down or needing mobility for long periods of time. However, that's not the point of this belt.In terms of function, it has no moving parts, which is perfect, and it's fast to put on, adjust, and it doesn't come loose. If you want this belt for rugged purposes, it does the job. Period. This isn't hard to come by in nylon belts, but the one I got in coyote brown looks bronze, given nylon's luster, and is quite good looking, too. Not the best looking nylon belt I've seen, but better than some. For serious use, I don't know what else you could possibly want.

TOO WIDE!
Belt is too wide to easily dock/undock Radio/Phone clips around it's width. Otherwise, very solid belt. Very easy to use buckle. Will not loosen unless you make it to. Belt long enough to remove/put on pants easily without having to refeed buckle. Fells like it can last a life time.

It works
I got thru the metal detectors at two airports recently without a problem and without having to remove my belt. The quality of the belt seems good and should hold up for many more trips to the airport.

Funcional y buen acabado
Bastante bien, aunque tiende a aflojarse solo y está reducido respecto a otros que manejan la misma talla, supongo que están dentro del margen que es permitido.

Does the job, very slim and lightweight
Pro tip: when the bigger size is cheaper than the size you actually want, just buy the bigger one and cut it to size.

No more butt cleavage.
It’s a belt. It’s a good belt. Held up my pants as I anticipated. Wasn’t disappointed at all. No butt crack exposed as per my friends and family.
