VCT VP-6 Adapter Plug for Australia & New Zealand - Black Angled Polarized

To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know!We just returned from three weeks in New Zealand and these worked exactly as expected. We purchased two different kinds of adapters and these are the only ones we needed. They're very light, easy to pack and worked flawlessly. There's nothing else that needs to be said.

Needed an adapter for Australia and ordered it thru Amazon. I looked for others on the interent but Amazon had the right price and what I wanted. Most places wanted to sell you a packet of adapter plugs when I only needed one. Item was brand new, received on time and of course I don't know how it works yet, but I am sure it will work just fine.

This did work in Fiji. Only one minor problem: The plug stayed in the wall socket, but the plug on my appliance would work its' way out of the adapter. I was using this with a hair dryer and a flat iron, so the cord would move and work its' way out of the adapter. I was still able to use the appliances , so overall I'm happy with this.

This plug adapter worked well and served it's purpose to allow me to use my US electronics while vacationing in Sydney. Be aware though, that it will not convert the voltage. You must check your electronics to be sure they will convert 120V/240V. Most newer laptops, cameras, and phone chargers will do this for you; therefore, this adapter will work great with those to simply be able to plug them in the wall.Be aware that electronics like hair dryers and curling irons will need a different adapter that will convert voltage from 240V (Asia) to 120V (USA).

These regularly spit out what I plug into them. By that I mean that I plug something into them, and they immediately and forcefully kick the plug out. When this doesn't happen, the plugs are only very delicately seated so they will fall out at the merest hint of a breeze. It's very hard for things to stay plugged in for any period of time. This is especially bad for heavy plugs like the one for my laptop. This is 90% useless - I can only use it if I can prop the plug on a box or something like that, and then am extremely careful to not jostle the cord in any way. I recommend strongly against buying this product.

It's simple and it works. Most of all, it's not overly bulky. My only complaint is that you can't get a very tight fit between the adapter and the appliance, so it falls out easily.

It's an electrical converter from US to AU. No problems in use.

Most of our electronic stuff (laptop, husband's sleep machine, phones, etc.) are fine with 220 so all we needed was this handy adaptor for Australia and New Zealand. I had seen reviews on other adapters that they didn't stay in the plug. We had no problem with these!
