Quality lighting unit.
This is a great light. Probably a tone of light best suited to freshwater aquaria. I've used it on a marine tank and the corals have responded well. I'd initially reduced the red colour (using wi fi device bought separately) but now have it on full. Enhances reds/purples of fish. Would recommend.

Very Bright
Things I liked are the fact it is VERY bright with a pure white light or a soft blue moonlight setting.Fully waterproof to IP67.Decently long lead.Made of metal. Sturdy.Things I don't like at this price range are the fact it has no dimming function or timer.Overall I think it's overpriced.

This was the third time I had purchased this product ,not just from Amazon ,once the coloured lights did not work{Amazon} and twice they did not last fourteen days.I am sure should you get one that continues to work could be a good product but far too unreliable to risk.

Does not fit as direct replacement for older T8 fluval
Bought this mainly based upon the reviews for this and the mark 1 which detail successful direct replacement for fluval roma xxx florescent units (mine is the 200 and I bought the 90-100cm). It doesn't fit and I suspect that it is only a direct replacement for T5 units as it isn't wide enough to cover the gap left by my T8 unit. Width is fine and I can see how this would work really well if I had wider flaps. I have managed to sort it by making up a couple of strips to close the gaps, but if I knew I was going to be doing that I'd have purchased a much cheaper unit ideally with a controller built in.Edit. Since reduced it by a star because it packed up today. Amazon are refusing to honour the 3 year guarantee and are asking me to take it up with intrapet.
