What an absolute beautiful scene to look at
I bought 2 sets of these lights (the 8 rib sets) in May 2017 after we remodeled our entire back yard and added a swimming pool. We have a huge back yard and therefore have 2 patio tables in different areas of the pool area. My husband brought the umbrellas into our living room because it was really hot outside and we put the umbrellas on their side and put the lights on. I won't lie, it takes some time to do clip them on, but look at the size of the 8 rib umbrella, what else would you expect. It's not difficult, just a little bit time consuming, BUT WORTH IT. We turn on our umbrella lights every evening along with the lights that we got from Costco that line our Redwood fence that encloses our property. What an absolute beautiful scene to look at. These lights have been glowing every night since May from about 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm and we haven't had one problem. I am buying 2 more sets because I know someday our excessive use of of the ones we have now will poop out and I don't want to take any chances and not be able to find them on Amazon again. You won't be disappointed with these lights. We get so many compliments from friends and family when they come over. People always want to know where we got them. I haven't seen these type of lights sold in any store or online except for Amazon.

THESE LIGHTS BURNED OUT AFTER 1 MONTHS
I was so excited to receive this lights as it is difficult to find non LED warm lights for under an umbrella these days. Once I installed them I was thrilled but now, less than a month after having them, half of the strand has burned out. I cannot believe it. Very very very disappointing. I cannot seem to figure out how to find the bad bulb and when I do try, it doesn't seem to do anything. If the return window was closed I would have returned these. Absolutely terrible product and no customer service to adhere to a warranty.

Still love these lights but…
We’ve been using Bella lights for 12 plus years and this is at least my third set. We love the quality of light and ambiance. The latest set - only halve of the lights worked. I switched out the fuses but that wasn’t it. I then found that one string had a bulb missing and the other strands had loose bulbs. Once tightened it all worked perfectly.

Beautiful Soft Light
I love this umbrella lighting. It gives a lovely soft light while giving plenty of light to see what you are eating. It is a little tricky getting them on correctly but not difficult. I learned after doing several sets. Just make sure you put all the zip ties through the clips the same way, then put five clips on each rib, put the light cuff around the top of the pole. Don't unwind all the lights. Line up each string then take one and unwind and lay the string onto the clip all the way to the end of that rib. Repeat with the rest. You can adjust the string before you snap the clips. It is well worth the effort. Highly recommend these.Update 06/2020: I love these lights but I have to say they do not last very long. After several seasons at least two ribs of lights stop working and there is nothing I can do to make them work. If I run my finders down the string once in a while they will pop on for a short time. So frustrating!I had a new out of the box set on hand to replace the set that totally stopped working thinking I didn't mind spending an hour and a half to install the new set. Btw, I agree with the comment it's best to have a detailed oriented person do the job because it is tedious. Anyway, after working meticulously I turned on the lights and two strands didn't work...new out of the box! I cannot figure out why they don't work because they worked before I hung them. I am guessing because you are instructed to twist the strands after you hang them to shorten the length to adjust to your rib, maybe it does some damage to the wire. Now I have a brand new set on the umbrella with six out of eight working. Just fair warning....

Very cumbersome installation.
The installation for this product is very difficult. I am generally pretty handy and can handle much more advanced installation projects than this one. But this was very frustrating. First you have to thread these little clips onto zipties - repeat 40 times. As another reviewer noted, screw up once and you botch the installation, because they give you EXACTLY 40 zip ties and 40 clips. Then you have to attach each clip to the umbrella, then position it correctly, then tighten it. Then you get to put the lights on. There is this adjustable collar meant to attach to the top of the umbrella shaft with adhesive. No adhesive on mine. So I've spent an hour futzing around with the clips and whatnot to discover they've left off a fairly important part of the installation. Not quite sure what I am supposed to do. Anyway, I'm sure I'll figure something out, but there's a reason this is so cheap. You're doing a lot of work. Frankly it should be cheaper for the amount of work they're shunting onto the end user.

almost a good product... DON'T BUY
There are 8 strands of lights... 1 for each rib on the umbrella. A normal person would expect each to be the same length for each rib. Well... mine has 7 strands with 20 lights each and 1 strand with only 15 lights. it is 6 inches short of reaching the rim of the umbrella!! how does that happen?!? You would never know this until you unravel the strand that is short... and after 45 minutes of setting them up I wasn't going to pull them all down to return. so now I am stuck with 1 short stand that looks silly. don't buy.
