the first review i had was a negative one and they contacted me and corrected the problem. the follow up product they sent me worked great and was very easy to use with the free app. i bought this with the intent of magnification exploration with my grandkids. when they saw how it worked and how they could see a very large image of flower petals, dust, hair, insects, etc on my iphone screen they wanted to look at everything with it. i expect that this summer we will have some fun with it outdoors...next time i am with them i am going to try it with my ipad! the customer service representative was very eager to respond to me and make things right. i highly recommend this product for the simple way i used it although i am not sure that it would be useful for more complex science experiments....nevertheless it was great fun and should be a product that you can use over and over again..the first reveiw is below" it does not come with iphone adapter...doesnt work with iphone or ipad...isleading ad says it works with ios but it wont work with my iphone or ipad because it does not come with iphone adapter...cant use this product .... i will see about finding an adapter or return itn or maybe if they are nice enough will send me an iphone adapter"

I bought this unit to view coins which does a good job.The picture is clear, it picks up all the little nicks and bumps on the coins but there are two things I am not fond of1: The cap is hard to take out but this ensures that no debris gets in that would ruin the camera2: The stand that the microscope slides on too is loose fitting when you try to adjust the zoom knob the microscope tends to slide out easily which causes the object to get bumped so you have to rearrange the object, the button to take a picture also causes the microscope to move while in the stand.All in All, I would buy this unit again.

My husband and I were extremely ecstatic when we got this. Can I tell you how great it's been to use it on fun things with our daughter to do experiments. My husband is a mechanical engineer, so it comes in handy when using it to examine airplane parts. The price is economical and the device is worth its money. If I were a science teacher, I would buy these for all my classes.

Not the best quality on the market, but definitely one of the best among the price range.Easy to use, setup was super easy, my 6 years old get it to work in less than 20 minutes.One thing I like most is you can nearly attach this unit to any device you have and have good experience with then,p.s. this won't work with older iphone model, such as 4s .

I got this to work with my granddaughter to explore it as a science tool. It worked great and we have been using it to record a video of a ladybug.Warning - if you point it at your own skin, you may never look at yourself in the mirror again the same. It is good enough to show the pores and the oil secretion spots.

I can view many small item with it. Though some things are too tight and hard to adjust. And there’s others that are too loose and falls out easily. I mean to be fair, it can still be used and can be a great toy for kids, especially for its price.

We had lice and this was wonderful to determine if we were still combing out nits. It was also cool to see anything so close. When the kids start real science this will be a perfect tool.
