Good quality product - You can't go wrong with Gedore.

Firstly, I am very familiar with the Gedore Red “economy” line. Normally, all the mechanics tools except for torque wrenches and ratchets are visually and functionally the same as premium quality traditional Gedore (Blue line as some call it). However this combination spanner set is definitely a downgrade from previous Red wrenches purchased. About half the wrenches have visible surface porosity, some of the wrench beams are not straight, the are forging inclusions and surface finish varies quite a bit in the set. And some have stains on them. These almost look like castings! Also, these are made in India. All other Red products have been marked Taiwan COO. Perhaps Gedore resourced to lower cost. Funny as in the 80’s, Gedore has a low Cost line of spanners Made in India. Nothing wrong with India, but the quality shift matches shift from Taiwan to India. All in all Imthese are still a great value for the price. But Quality is definitely not up to other Red products we own.
