Love all the pretty patterns. The project that I am on I believe has a misprint for the number of initial chains ....Said 61, not 6 chains for rose center. It is also one that you have to make lots of separate pieces and then fill in. It has been a while since I have done a pattern. This particular one is not as clear to me as some. A diagram of stitches or a few larger (than the one in there that show stitches clearly)pics to help would be good for this particular pattern. I looked over some of the others and they seem to be pretty clear, so think it is the particular one I picked. Overall great book with lots of beautiful patterns.

This book is filled with all sorts of vintage patterns. If you want to recreate the look of a bygone age then this is for you. I made one of the motifs and found the pattern to be well written and easy to follow. I think what will put a stop to most people in this day and age is the sheer number of motifs needed for a given bedspread. For the motif I made - a queen size bed called for 860+ motifs not including the fill-in. For the casual crocheter, this is overwhelming and will put a halt to the most earnest of projects. A large bedspread will probably take the better part of a year or more to complete. But, if you do complete one of the bedspreads - you'll have an heirloom to pass on to those who follow you.Good luck and have fun with this book!

I purchased this book as I thought it was a great price and I am learning crochet. It went to my kindle but now I need to print the pages- it is very difficult to crochet from a pattern in the kindle book- yet I cannot print nor can I find a way to print this. This is not thought out well- if you buy a book such as a craft book or receipe book- you should have the option to save on your account site and print out an adobe file as well.I cannot use this as is unless I sit down and copy all the information by hand so I can do the pattern. There are 31 patterns in this book. I also bought a second book- same problem. I purchased both on the same day.I will not purchase any more craft books or recipe books for the kindle. Too much trouble to use.Ljh

Bought this book to find a winter project and was not disappointed. Well written patterns with pictures. I bought it for my kindly and it is hard to print the patterns out, I would recommend buying it as hard cover for easier use.
