My 17 month old son is at that age where he wants to do everything mom and dad are doing. So now he has his own pint-size talking broom. He plays with this broom every day and likes to use his Silly Sam broom while mom and dad sweep with the regular broom. I would highly recommend it.March, 2013 UPDATE: I am adding to this review almost three years later to say that the "Sweeping Sam" Talking Broom has become one of my son's all-time favorite toys. He is now 4 1/2 years old and still pulls out this toy to play with it. I think that we have only replaced the batteries in it one time since purchasing it. We also now have a 2 1/2 year old and he also loves playing with this broom. I am not sure if it's because children like to copy things that their parents do, but whenever I take out my adult broom to sweep, one of my sons goes and pulls out Sweeping Sam to help!

Bought for grandson. He has had it for over a year. Still running great. Fits his hands.

i brought this as a gift for my 1 year old daugther for xmas. because she love playing with brooms. this one was great for her. even her older brother likes to play with this toy as well. and he is 3. this is a great buy for a young child who loves to play with these types of things. and it also talks which was a added bonus for her. the only problem that i had with this item was that when i received it had already been written it and the batteries were dead. other then that like i said it was a great buy.

This toy has been frustrating to turn off. The grands easily lose interest in it. Then turning it off has been a challenge.

I gave this as a Christmas gift for a 2 year old child. The handle kept coming off. I told the parents I would return the talking broom for a refund, but they had begun gluing the part(s) that kept coming dislodged. The faulty construction should be corrected---NOW, before the product injures a child.

My son got this as a birthday present when he turned one. He really enjoys playing with the kitchen broom so we thought he would like this one. He plays with it sometimes and we like that the nose is a button. However, I do not like the voice of the broom or when it says "You missed a spot." There are times when it says that several times and I think it could hurt a child's self esteem. Overall, it is an okay product and I probably would give another product from Kidz Delight a chance.

Grandson loves this toy!

My little boy loves "Sweeping Sam." He carries Sam all over the house, and gets excited when he discovers Sam in a room, after leaving him for a few days or hours. This toy is so much fun!
