Q: Has the formula for the large breed adult changed? i have used it for years and just received another delivery. there are 2 different colors of kibble

I was wondering the same thing, but for different reasons. I started feeding this to my dogs 3 yrs ago because they both had terrible skin issues. Once I switched to the Iams, their skin and coats cleared up in a matter of weeks. A few months ago, I noticed that have started chewing themselves again and I haven't changed anything in their routines(flea meds, food, environment). When I saw that the food had different colors, I wondered if they had changed the formula and that the new dye may be the issue.

Large breed formula is larger chunks.

Q: My 1 year old german Sheppard has been eating this for about 3 months but is about 15 pounds underweight, what can i add to this for him to gain weigh

Try free feeding , let him eat when he wants, I have 3 dogs (2 German sheps and a Rottie) they all free feed, also maybe give him some raw beef or cooked chicken with rice and veg (I buy the frozen bags of carrots and peas) add them to the pan with some chicken stock.
