Great Product

I’m a chicken scratcher. Always have been, and no matter how hard I try, I always will be. I write fast and small, and while this pen cannot make my handwriting neater it does make my small print more legible. Just one pen got me through an entire semester of hand written college notes so they’re worth the money. They don’t smear either. They’re the smallest pen point I’ve had so far, and when I loan them out I tend to not get them back, so beware on that front.

My roommate ruined me when she introduced me to Sarasa - now they're the only pen I hoard - I mean, use, in med school. I'm a grandma in age compared to my classmates (2nd career) so I'm one of the few who still takes notes on paper, but I wouldn't do it with any other pen. I gave it over in an emergency and the nurse who returned it (!!!!) said "it's like writing with a quill! That was awesome!". Miraculous that I got it back, not at all surprised that she loved it too :) And hey, it's a small pleasure that keeps me going through crazy days like that one.On a more objective note: fine point good for small writing; to my eye, even clearer than the 'fine point' from Pilot, etc. (though the actual mm is larger - 0.4 vs. 0.38 - the ink flow is somehow more controlled and lays down on the paper more smoothly). I tried 0.3 sarasa and that was the borderline of chicken scratch to me. This one is a perfect goldilocks ground between the 'messy' and bleeding lines I get with 0.5 (to say nothing of 0.7) points and the faintness of 0.3/0.28 of other pens I've tried.I just ordered another box even though I have 8 left in this one; if I could practically buy a lifetime supply of these I would. My only wish is that I could find reliable refills instead of having to order entirely new pen sets.

Don't come at me with your love of the pilot g2. These are better hands down. They have replaced my go-to pen for over a year at this point.

I run these things into the ground at remarkable pace, their ink does not last very long whatsoever. Otherwise, everything about them in perfect. Very comfortable in the hand, writes well, and the ink is pretty.

It writes better than any pen I have used in my 40 years alive. I was worried when I opened the package and peeled the ball covering the tip off but instantly I was able to appreciate how clear and smooth it writes. Instantly dries so no smear or smudging I’m impressed!
