Christopher Knight Home Nyala Wood Dining Table, Natural Oak Finish

We needed to replace a 4 person table to a 6 person. Our last table was a glass top that lasted us 14yrs and was all scratched and ready to go, however, with 2 kids under 6 we didn't want to buy something expensive in the fear it would be destroyed. We settled on this table because it had the right look and good reviews, and I have to agree with the other reviewers. It's very sturdy once assembled which is just 2 screws per leg, so very easy to put together. Super well packaged, came undamaged and was delivered right to our door by Amazon. The only thing that weirded me out at first is that the tabletop looks like it's painted, and I realized that as we were putting the legs on as you can clearly see the spray effect under the table. I initially was very apprehensive since it didn't match the legs but once put together, I could barely tell that the color was slightly off, and I got over it very quickly. I am normally a stickler for details so if I can live with it, I consider it a completely acceptable product, especially for the price; so affordable, and just right for our budget and purpose. Would definitely recommend but will update if we come up with any issues that others have reported such as peeling or splitting of the table top.

My ideal dining table! The wood grain is beautiful. Super great quality and very simple to put together! Completed in 15 minute by myself. Would repurchase over and over!

Very nice table. It was so easy to build, but it is heavy so I had to wait until my husband came hone to help me get it stood up. We’ve had it for about a month and now and it has a few scratches on the top. So it scratches very easily. I don’t think it will last more than a few years.

I love this table, it looks really cute and the size fits.The problem is that it comes without the screws!!It is suppose to be 9 screw and I only got 1 of them!!!The supplier cannot send “additional” pieces, but I am not asking for any add stuff, I’m asking for the missing pieces to assemble the table. Sent a few messages to manufacturer and also spoke to Amazon CS, received a great customer service from Amazon Customer Service Rep, and helped me with a discount but recommended me going into a few Hardware stores to see if I can find similar screws because the manufacturer didn't respond, hope to get a full refund from the manufacturer because of his lack of comunication and cuatomer service!

Although the table was extremely heavy and I needed help getting it out of the box, it was extremely easy to put together and a beautiful table. It is sturdy, solid, and I’m looking forward to enjoying it.

I'm happy overall with this dining room table. It looks great from afar but does scratch fairly easily. Our table is right by a door we use to come into the house from the garage so sometimes things end up on it. We don't have children at home and are quite careful, but it still has small scratches from use. After we realized that, we don't put anything on it on use it only for eating purposes. This works well because it makes the house look tidier and is a good motivator to not leave things on the dining room table! I wouldn't recommend this table is you have children or teens unless you use a tablecloth.

I am a 5 ft tall 30 something female and put this together by myself. Yes it was heavy, but well packaged. They even told you how to maintain the table and surfaces on the included packaging to ensure it does not get scratched during assembly. Overall very solid, not the absolute highest of quality though. Were the legs attached to the table there is some Gap between where wood and wood touches, price is fair for the quality.

We have a crazy son, who like playing on the dining table... and it supports him very well.Also, it's very nice, and easy to assemble, we like it.
